The Bridge of Faith

Faith is the bridge between God and I. God can do all things, and He has all things that pertain to life. But how do all these things that God has and can do get to me? One way, and one way only. The bridge of faith. Jesus said, "according to your faith (not His) be it done unto you" (Matt 9:27-29), " your faith has made you well" (Matt 9:20-22), Mark 2:5 says, " when Jesus saw their faith" (end of quote) He responded and did something, and Mark 9:23 says "all things are possible to him who believes".

The prayer that the Apostle Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:17-23 is the best example of the bridge of faith. Paul prays in verse 19 that he would know the exceeding greatness of God's power that was extended toward him from God when he believed God. Paul's believing God produced the bridge of faith for that thing which God had and was now able to get it to Paul's need. Paul's faith in God was God's access to Paul. That verse in Ephesians continues on to say that Paul's believing God was just the same as when Jesus believed (God the Father) that the Father would raise Him (Jesus) from the dead if Jesus obediently and trustfully followed Him to that place of death. It was Jesus's believing the Father that raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus's believing what His Father said is what created the bridge between Him and His Father and the Father used the bridge of faith to get the resurrection power to Jesus.

This is the purpose of faith. It is our only contact with God that will produce the things that we need from Him. We are responsible as believers, to keep the bridge between God and us intact, and the only way this is done is by believing Him (not just believing "in" Him). When we stop believing, we tear down and destroy the bridge of faith (that is why the devil attacks your faith) which stops the flow of God's provision into our lives. All that God requires us to do is just believe Him, for then He is well pleased (Heb 11:6) for now He has access into our lives over that bridge of faith. If what you need from God is not there with you, then go immediately and check the condition of your bridge, for when the bridge (of faith) is in good working order, then God will be able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think. (Eph 3:20) But, you have to read the second half of that verse to see how He does it for you. The last part of that verse says (you will receive the exceedingly, abundantly things) according to the power that works in us. It's according to what or how much "you" can believe, and not according to God's abilities. Your believing God is what builds the bridge of faith and keeps it intact. It simply boils down to you and me opening up the book (the bible) and looking at the promise from Him that covers our need, then believing that promise for ourselves. Our faith in His word of promise produces the bridge of faith between God and our need and it's over this bridge (of faith) that God brings His provision that He promised to you. God truly enjoys that child of His whose bridge is in good working order. It's impossible to please God without faith (Heb 11:6) so let our goal for each and every day be to put a smile on God's face by maintaining our bridge of faith.

Just How Big is God?

The following message I'm going to share with you is a word that was directly spoken to me this morning from God and I'm going to share it as He spoke it to me so it will sound as if it is in the " first person", just the way I received it, but as I told you already about the purpose of this blog site, that what God shares with me personally for my spiritual growth, He wants this made available for all His children to see and learn by, so truly my life becomes an open book for you and I'm willing to do that to fulfill God's will for me even at the risk of looking and sounding foolish. Be Blessed..............

I am bigger than any situation you face in life. I can take care of any situation you face. I am bigger, that is what you must remember at all times. When you are confronted with an issue of life and as you look at it, it just looks to big for you, you must know and understand this following truth; you are looking at the problem through your eyes and not Mine. If it looks to big to you, you are trying to figure out how you are going to solve that problem in your own strength and ability and as you do this, you realize quickly that you can't do it and you grow smaller and the problem grows larger and you begin to think like a defeated man. I have not created you to be able to defeat these issues of life on your own. You were created to have dominion over everything through Me, not without Me. It's your faith in Me and My ability that empowers you to overcome that issue of life that stands before you. When your confidence is in Me and you look at that issue of life through My eyes then you'll believe what I've said to you out of My word which is, " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Phil 4:13), and I truly will watch over this word of truth I have spoken to you and you and I together will defeat and destroy that issue of life that stands before you. Now always remember what I have spoken to you this day, "I am bigger than any issue of life that you will ever face, for My Son Jesus has gone before you and defeated your enemy, the devil, and his (the devils) works are under My Son's feet and therefore they are under your feet as well as long as your feet are standing on the firm rock foundation of My Son's victory. Nothing is bigger than Me, My son, therefore everything that you look at through My eyes will be smaller than you and you will go forth and tread upon it. Keep your eyes on Me at all times and if you do this, then you will think about yourself the way I want you to think and that is, " that I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me" (Rom 8:37). This is the mindset I want you to have as you face every issue of life that comes against you. Be of good cheer My son, for I have overcome the world and this is what overcomes the world for you, your faith in Me (1 John 5;4-5), and that is why I have declared to My people, " the just shall live by faith" (Heb 10:38), now go and live that way and if you do, nothing will be bigger than you as you stand before it........... End of message

The confirming scripture God has given me for this message is Deut 7:21-22. "You shall not be terrified of them (the issues of life), for the Lord your God, the great and awesome (Big) God, is among you. And the Lord your God will drive out those nations (those issues of life) that stand before you, little by little (or better said, one step of faith at a time until that issue is destroyed).

Now go and be blessed, and be that man/woman that God has created you to be, an overcomer!

Who Do You Look Like?

Ps 17:5 (living bible) says, " But as for me, my contentment is not in wealth but in seeing You and knowing that all is well between us. And when I awake in heaven, I will be fully satisfied, for I will see you face to face." (I will see Him as He is and then I'll realize that I am just like Him and I'll also realize that is what He has told me from the beginning, "that as He is, so are we in this world", 1 John 4:17).

What I realize as true when I see Him face to face, is the truth that God the Father wanted me to believe while I was on the earth ( Prov 23:7 "for as a man thinks in his heart, SO IS HE"). It has always been the Father's desire that after we were born again we would believe that He made us to be just like Jesus (Rom 8:29). Our purpose on the earth was to look and act just like Jesus. We were created by God to be the true witnesses of God on the earth, just like Jesus was(Acts 1: 5&8). We are not only cheating ourselves when we don't understand God's purpose for our lives, but we are cheating the world also when we won't walk out this plan of God for man on the earth, for those in the world are looking for the One True God, and God has made us to look just like Him, for Jesus said, " if you've seen Me, you've seen the Father(John 14:9)" and the Father wants His children to say, "if you have seen me, you've seen Jesus", and if the world sees Jesus, they'll be drawn to Him, then God will rescue them through His love. The born again man/woman has a high calling upon his life which is declared in Rom 8:29, "for whom He (God) foreknew,He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son (Jesus), that He (Jesus) might be the first born among many brethren," If you are born again, then you are accounted by Jesus to be among "the many brethren", and we are to respond to what Jesus said in John 14:12, " most assuredly (this is a sure thing), I say to you, he who believes in me (or, he who believes Me), the works that I do, he will do also, and greater works he will do, because I go to My Father". What Jesus left behind on the earth were born again men and women that looked and acted just like Him, and He enabled them to do greater things, or better said, more of the great things that Jesus did, because there were more Jesus's (now take a deep breath and only believe) on the face of the earth to carry out the will of the Father which is, " how God anointed Jesus (and those that are made just like Him, those born again ones) with the Holy Spirit and power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him.(Acts 10:38)." (and He is with you and me as well).

It takes courage for the born again man/woman to renew his mind to the place where he realizes he was made (then remade by being born again) in the image of God (Gen 1:26), and he is called to act just like Him because, " as He is, so are we in this world ( 1 John 4:17)". It's time for the church to act like the church (the Body of Christ), and if we are going to act like the church that the Father created then we, thats you and me, we are going to look and act just like Jesus. For this purpose God has drawn you to Himself. Now go and be the person God has created you to be. BE LIKE JESUS!

Note: Don't misunderstand what I'm saying, for there is religious spirit that will come immediately to challenge what you have just read. Let me say this loud and clear. There is only One Jesus who died on the cross for our sins, who paid the price for our sins three days in the belly of the earth, Who then was raised from the dead, who was glorified in heaven, who then sat down at the right hand of the Father to reign and rule forevermore. There is only One Jesus. BUT, the good news of the gospel is that we, you and me, the born again believers, have been raised up to sit together with Christ (we're sitting there now, not when we get to heaven, Eph 2:6) and given the authority in His Name to reign and rule in this life on earth (Rom 5:17) as kings and priests. We have been made by God to be just like Him and the blood of Jesus gives us the right to be just like Him. It takes strength and courage to take God at His word, but if you hang around God long enough, He will make you Just like Himself. I'm love'n it!!

How Can I Know God?

Knowing God, comes through obedience to His word. (read Job 36:12). God does not make Himself known to a man/woman, until that man steps out onto God's word, then after the man steps out, God reveals Himself to that man. This is the way of faith, which is the way of God for man. God reveals Himself to the man who is trusting Him. To know God, you must walk by faith out onto His word and once you are in that place, God will make Himself known to you. When you act, God reveals. This is God's way, there is no other way for man to know God. Obey, then know God's perfect design for knowing Him. You have to obey the word to know the word, and John 1:1 says that the word is God. If you'll do the word, then you'll know Him and not just -know of Him or about Him- but you'll actually know Him and this is when He becomes real to you, and this is when your life is changed forevermore.

Are You A Disciple?

A disciple is a follower. A disciple is not in control or in charge, but it's the One who is leading that is in charge and in control. The disciple does not dictate, but the One he is following dictates. I'm a disciple because I believe in the One, His doctrine, His way, His teaching, therefore I'm to follow for one purpose only. To learn the ways of the One I'm following so that I in turn will be able to do exactly the same thing of the One I'm following. A disciple becomes a leader, but a disciple is always being led. A disciple doesn't do his own thing, he only does what he sees the One he is following do. A disciple is an imitator of the One he is following. A disciple is single minded, and only looks at the One he is following. He considers no other way. A disciple is loyal to the One he is following, ahead of anyone else he may know (spouse, parents, children, grand children, friends). A disciple loves the One he is following, therefore he does what He says, when it's convenient and when it's not, in season and out of season, whether it makes sense or not, the disciple just does it. The disciple has heard the call, "follow Me", and he has left everything to do it (that is he has put everything else in his life behind the One he is following). A disciple is a follower. Not all of God's children choose to follow. Many go there own way, but they are still God's children and heaven is their home. They will not of fulfilled God's perfect will for their lives and they will of missed God's best, but God loves His children and will see them safely home. But God is calling His children to be disciples. Will you answer Him today? Will you give Jesus your life and follow Him today? Blessed is the man/woman who trusts in the Lord. Are you ready to be blessed? You say, "Yes", then there is only One way. "Follow Me" says the Lord.

Read Luke 14:25-35

Note: Now this was God speaking to me this morning as He was speaking to me about being His disciple. He was asking me these same questions. He was confronting me and wanted me to take a hard look at myself and see if I was really the disciple I thought I was. There have been events in my life over the past few months that did not line up with His explanation of what a disciple is and must be. I humbly accepted His word of Truth and His correction for me, and now He wants the lesson I learned to be shared with you. Again that is the only intent of this blog site. God desires to touch more lives of His children than just me. I'm always thankful when God speaks to me this way, because I know if I will do what He says, I'm a blessed man, and His favor goes before me and His mercy and grace follow me all the days of my life. Come and join me and Jesus on this journey. There is plenty of room. Now go and be blessed.

Just A Reminder

I want to make sure you understand what God has led me to do with this site. He has directed me to share the revelations of His word that He has given to me so as to be available for all His children to see. Now this is revelation and understanding that He has given to me therefore depending on where you are at in your spiritual growth (and we are all at different places) you may be seeing or hearing something you don't understand, and that's okay. Revelation comes only one way from God to His believing child so that His child might grow up and become the man/woman He has created them to be and that way to revelation is declared in Isa 28:9-10 which says, "Whom will He teach knowledge? And whom will He make to understand the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just drawn from the breasts? For precept, must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little."
I have accumulated over 28 years of revelation through this building process with God. There may be times that I share something with you that because of your level of spiritual growth, you are not able to understand what is being said, but please understand I've been in this building process with God for some time now and God speaks to me at where I'm at with my understanding of God's word and precepts. I'm only sharing what God has said to me, it's not what I think about what God has said to me. This was the agreement I had to have with God before He allowed me to start down this path of sharing His revelation that He has given to me and then pass it on to you. So if it comes across that I'm saying something from a lofty place, then you'll know the reason for it. I'm just saying what He is saying and to be honest with you, I know there will be times when I'm not gonna want to post something He has said just exactly the way He said it, and I'd rather sugar coat it and make it more palatable, but then God would take this vehicle of communication away from me and I know I can't let that happen.
So if you read something here that is just to far out, that just means you're not flying at that altitude yet, so just set it aside for awhile, and keep learning how to fly and one day you will be up there so high someone will say that you are far out and then you'll smile and know how God got you there, precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little. Be Blessed!!

Love--How Important is It to God

Why is walking in love (God's love as described in 1 Cor 13:1-8 and the Amplified Bible has the best description of this love) so important to God?
If I speak with the voice of man and of angels and I don't walk in love, I'm just a noisy gong and a clanging symbol and those that hear me, will only hear me and not God. They will see me and not God. If I operate in all the power gifts of the Spirit, and have faith enough to move mountains, but I don't walk in love, I'm useless to God, for the people will only see me (and think I'm something special) and not God, for God is only seen through love. If I give all that I have and even sacrifice my life for God, but have not walked in love, I've gained nothing for the Kingdom of God, because the people will only see what I have done and they will want to exalt me and think I'm something instead of seeing the God who has made me that way. Love reveals God. That is the purpose of love, to reveal love Himself, which is Jesus, who is God. Love is what draws man to God, that is why I must walk in love so that I can reveal God to those around me. When they see love in action, they'll see God and be drawn to Him. When you walk in love, you become the fisher of men.
God is Love (1 John 4:16)

The Strength of Love- Without Love, There is No Place for Faith to Work

Standing in love (walking in love) is the strongest and most powerful place a man can be. There is no more powerful place for a man to be than in that place of (God's) love. This is the area that satan attacks most for he knows if he can get the child of God out of love, this man/woman becomes powerless in the Kingdom of God because this man can not operate, live, and walk by faith. And if a man is not in faith, he is absolutely no threat to the devil, for the devil knows that faith works by love.+
