Revelation is the Bread of Life

The manna God provided His people in the desert (Exodus 16) represents the revelation that God pours out to His people today. Just as the manna supplied life to the physical body, revelation of the word supplies life to the spirit of man. Matt 4:4 says, "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word the proceeds forth from the mouth of God." (that says every word. Not just the original word He spoke, but also the words He speaks to you when He reveals the truth of that word He spoke). The word is the starting place, it's the tangible bread that you put in your spirit then meditate (or think) about, but it's what God reveals about the word that has His life in it. The word does not come alive until God reveals the hidden truth that is contained in it. It's when you meditate on that revelation that draws the life of God out of His word and into your spirit.

That is why a person can look at the word and not see anything at all, but another person who's heart is right with God because he is born again and the Spirit of God lives within him, will look into that same word and God will reveal a truth about it through the Holy Spirit, and that truth revealed becomes truth to you so that you then are able to go and do that truth for God has made it real to you, but to the other person it's just a word on the page with no life in it. There are born again men on the face of the earth that have hardened their heart through sin that can not see or hear God's revelation of His word, therefore there is none of the life of God available to them through the word.

The good news is, the born again man can repent before God and receive His forgiveness (1John1:9) and at once he is again in right position to hear and see revelation from the word of God that will once again bring life into his spirit. This is God's plan for man. He has made man to be able to receive His (God's) life through revealed knowledge of what He says. If you are not receiving revelation, check the condition of your heart. Are you harbouring any sin? (walking in love is a biggy here. God gave us the commandment to walk in love, not just suggest it. John 13:34 & 1John 3:23). Then check your schedule. What or Who has the priority in your day? Does God have first place in your day? Go and do the right things that place you in the right position to hear from God, for then the word of God becomes life unto you and health and medicine to all your flesh (Prov 4:20-27).

God is speaking, do you hear Him? Now go and read immediately John 6 the whole chapter and let God speak this truth to you and let Him unwrap it for you in just the way He wants you to understand it. This is when pulling up to God's dinner table is fun (read Ps 23:5). If you don't have time to read the whole chapter read at least John 6: 31-35, 41, 48-51, 58. Enjoy the meal!!

Christ in me, that's all I need!

Everything I have need of in life is already on deposit in my heart (my spirit), which (Who) is Christ in me, the hope of glory. (read Col 1:27, Eph 1:18 & 3:16) My inheritance from God as God's child is the riches of His glory Who (which) is Christ, the anointed One along with His anointing. My inheritance is Christ in me. Christ is the storehouse of God. There isn't anything I need in life that can not be found in God's storehouse. I've inherited the storehouse of God and God wants me to come to His storehouse first for my needs, before I would consider any other way. God shall supply all of my needs according to (my inheritance which is) His riches in glory (Phil 4:19) Who (which) is Christ, Who (which) is in me (my inheritance) my hope of glory. All I must do as God's child is to be confident enough to come boldly to the throne of grace in my time of need (Heb 4:16), and obtain from my inheritance, what I need in this life, for everything I have need of resides in me, Christ, which is God's glory and that glory is greater than any need that stands before me. Therefore when a need appears, I already know (by faith) that need is taken care of, because I know where to look to get this need fulfilled, which is God's storehouse, Who is Christ in me, my hope of glory or I could say it like this; that place where all my hope goes to fulfill every need that I have. That is how much God loves me and what or who could ever separate me from that love? Only one thing. Unbelief. Oh God, give me the ability to believe You for Your very best, which (Who) is Christ in me, my hope of glory which is my knowing that every need I'll ever face is already met by You. Thank you Lord Jesus for taking care of me!!

Called to be a Witness

God is love. Jesus is love in manifestation. Jesus is manifested love or love in the flesh which is able to be discerned by those in the physical realm which we live in. Jesus is manifested love or Jesus is what God's love looks like. If you're looking at Jesus, you're looking at love in action.

Jesus enabled man to see what His love looks like. Everything Jesus did was an act of love. Everything that Jesus spoke was love speaking. Jesus is the perfect image of love, for Jesus is love! Now in Rom 5:5 the word says (therefore this is Jesus speaking to us for John 1:1 says the Word is God and in verse 14 it says the word became flesh, so the word is Jesus and since God is love, therefore Jesus is love, therefore the word is love, therefore this is love speaking to us). Now in Rom 5:5 the word says, "the love of God has been poured out in our ( the believer's) hearts." We believers now have that same love dwelling in our hearts. It is the believer (God's child) who now manifests (God's) love on the earth, when he yields to that love that resides in his spirit (heart). When I'm led by the Spirit and my actions are controlled by the Spirit, then love will be clearly seen by all men. And this is the witness God has called us to be. A witness of Himself in this world where we live.

God reveals Himself to man by who He is, Love. When man sees love, they are drawn to it. Look at Jesus's ministry on the earth. Where ever He went, love was in action and men were drawn to this love. They were drawn to the man they could see, the witness of God before them, which was love manifested in the flesh. Men are drawn by love. Love is the most powerful force on the earth for God is love. And this is what you and I, the believer, have been called to. To be God's witness (of Himself) on the earth today. The only way man sees God is by seeing love in action. Therefore the only way men will see love (God's love) is by them looking at you and me and seeing us responding in every situation in love. What does this look like? It looks just like Jesus. Whatever He did, we do. That's why Jesus said, " the works that I do, he (the believer-man or woman) will do also." Men have truly struggled with this saying. Why? Because they can't see themselves being like Jesus and doing what Jesus did. But this has been God's plan for man all along and He has made a way for man to do it. God's children (that's you and me and Jesus--Col 1:15&18 and Heb 1:5) are God's inheritance. God has inherited children that are made just like Him, because His Spirit is in each and every child of His. His Spirit is called Love and if we believers will yield to that Love, we will be the true witness of God on the earth and our witness will draw men to the foot of the cross where they in turn will meet God and be changed by God to look like one of His children, for God will pour out His Spirit into that man who receives the One (Jesus) to whom all the witnesses were pointing to by their acts of love.

You may now have a better understanding of why the adversary of your soul, the devil, attacks that love with such intensity. The devil knows that God will not be visible to other men if love is not seen. The devil could not stop Jesus's witness of love though he tried mightily and he will try his best to stop yours. It's love that defeated the devil and now it's love (that love in you and me, the believer) that enforces that defeat on the earth today.

With this revelation, we must protect this love that has been poured into our hearts at all cost. We must receive our assignment from God, the same assignment Jesus had, to be the witness of God's love before men and allow that love to draw men to God. We are sent out to reveal God's love in the midst of a dark and loveless world. We can do this thing because greater is He who lives in us than he who lives in the world.

Now you and I are responsible to grow up in this love and you'll only grow in it by exercising it or doing it. We will have to die to ourselves and to our own hurt to carry out this mission, but this is what we are called by God to do. 1John 4:17 says that love has been perfected in us (we have been a work in progress since the first day we were born again) therefore let us be perfected in that love, by keeping our eye on Perfect Love, Jesus, and do what He did so that we will confirm the end of that verse which says, "as He is, so are we in this world."

Now, lets you and I go out and act just like Jesus, for that is exactly what God has made us for. Let us put a smile on God's face today and be that witness before men that will draw them to the loving, caring, great and Almighty God that you and I know and who have become His inheritance for all eternity!! (the future truly looks great)

One further note: I think the best description of what God's love looks like is spelled out in the Amplified version of the bible and if you'll read and meditate the truth that God is saying to us in 1 Corinthians 12:31 to 1 Cor 13:8 you will see how love (God's love) acts and responds in every situation. If you'll allow God to help you do those things that you read in these verses, God will be clearly seen by those looking at you and that is all God is asking us to do.

It Is What It Is

Have you ever heard or used this phrase to explain a situation. "It is what it is". Well God says "No it's not". It is what God says it is. And the good news is that it can be what you say it is, IF, you'll have faith in God and say what He says about it.

The human natural tendency is to look at something and call it as we see it. If I'm weak and tired and just can't go on, then that's what I will call myself, "weak". But God says "Let the weak say I am strong". (Joel 3:10). So now, it is either "it is what it is" or "it is what God says it is". We can either be moved by what we see and feel with our physical senses or we can be moved by what God has declared in His word. You'll never see the result of faith until you do faith. The next time you are at that weak place and your ready to quit and you just can't move on in your own strength then I challenge you today to pick up your bible and turn to Joel 3:10 read it and believe it and then stand before God and say, " I'm so physically weak I can't go on, but because Your word says," let the weak say, I am strong", then that is exactly what I'm going to say, and because my faith is established in You and what You have said in Your word, I expect the supernatural strength of the most High God to consume me and empower me to go on. Thank you for Your strength, now I'm moving on." If you'll do this, God will watch over His word to perform it in your life. You'll move in a strength you never knew existed before. You can do this!

This is called, being a doer of the word, and not just a hearer only. You say you believe Joel 3:10, then your gonna have to do it to see the result of His word in your life.

In Rom 4:17 it says that God calls those things that do not exist as though they did. This is God's way, and the Bible says God's way is perfect Ps 18:30. I know there has been a lot of crazy stuff written and said about this subject and many of God's people have just blown it off. Don't let the devil scare you away from the truth. Let God reveal His truth to you about this matter.

It is what it is, oh no it's not!!!!!!!!!!!!
