Help God, I'm In A Bad Spot!!

Jesus said, "Now My soul is troubled and what shall I say? Father save Me from this hour? But for this purpose I came to this hour". (John 12:27)

Jesus said He was troubled because of where He found Himself and what stood before Him. He said, should I pray to God (the Father) to get me out of this situation? No, because for this purpose I came and that purpose was to reveal God the Father, to let His light so shine before the world so that men/women would be drawn to the light of God and enter the Kingdom of God through the Son.Jesus knew His purpose and why He was here, and He knew what He had to do to cross the finish line and complete the race that was set before Him for all humanity.

The Apostle Paul was learning this truth in 2 Cor 12:7-10 when satan sent one of his messengers to buffet or resist Paul in what he was doing. This messenger became a pain in the neck (better known as Paul's thorn in the flesh) to Paul and he pleaded with God to take this bad situation away from him.

Man always does this. We always want the easy way of least resistance. We don't want any hardship so we are always trying to pray our way out of it, while all the time, that was our very assignment from God to be in a situation that we could not control with our own abilities, but our only way out was through God working through us and through doing this God's glory is revealed to those in darkness, and they are drawn to the light of God.

Paul figured this out through revelation when God said to him, "My Grace IS SUFFICIENT for you". God's Grace is always sufficient in any situation you'll face, for the Holy Spirit declares (through Paul), "For by Grace are you have been saved (healed, set free, delivered, made whole--it's the Greek word sozo and this word saved is way deeper, wider and stronger then most Christians understand it to be), For by Grace you have been saved through Faith."

Everything you need in life God has provided for you ( 2 Pet 1:3). There is nothing that you need that is not included in God's Grace and that is why God said, "My Grace is sufficient for you". All you must do to receive the promise of His Grace is by believing what God has said to you, that His Grace is sufficient or "I've already provided for your need, now believe Me for it and you will receive it." Paul learned this and rejoiced and praised God for he knew the victory was his.
God is calling you and me to this same place of understanding. God says to His children, "don't be in such a hurry to get out of that difficult place you are in. For this is the very purpose I sent you there so that you could fight the good fight of faith and let your light shine before men, so that these men would be drawn unto Me.

Brothers and Sisters, if you are following the Spirit of God (the Word) with your life, then you are at the right place at the right time no matter how ugly or difficult it may seem. For this purpose were you called there to reveal the Living God to those around you. You can stand confidently in the middle of the situation you find yourself in knowing that God's Grace is sufficient and more than enough and He will save (deliver) you out of it when your mission is complete and your light has done it's work.

Are we willing to trust God to this extent with our lives? Well, Jesus did, and He is our perfect example. And whatever He did that is our calling as well for Jesus said, "those that believe in Me, the works that I do, they shall do also." (John 14:12)

So before you quickly call to God to bail you out of a situation, make sure your mission is complete. How will you know when it is complete? God will save (deliver) you from (or out of) it, and you'll be looking back at it.

If you understand what Jesus has told us today, then you'll know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isa 54:17). When you see adversity ahead, you'll run at it like King David did against the giant (1 Sam 17:48), because you'll also know what David knew, God's Grace was sufficient for him, and it surely was and it will surely be for you as well.

Father glorify your Name through me today!! ( John 12:28) That is what Jesus said when He saw the Cross before Him and He knew God's Grace was sufficient for Him to finish His mission and thanks be to God He did for because He lives, so do we, therefore we say what Jesus said, " Father glorify your Name (through me today)".

Be Blessed (Ps 40:4)

The Doctor's Report

God spoke the following truth to me today and said, "You do not have to be afraid of a doctor's report."

For the Believer (the born-again one), the doctor's report is only that which points to a need or to the lack of a need. When the need is revealed in the doctor's report, then you know exactly where to release your faith in the Word of God for that need to be met with the healing power of God. Without the doctor's report you wouldn't know the need, and not knowing leads to an opportunity for the enemy of your soul (the devil) to harm you or kill you.

The doctor's report is your friend. It points to needs and God has said in His Word that He will meet all of our needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19). God has an answer for every need of man. Jesus, the Son of the Living God, is that answer because He bore every sickness and every disease under the curse(Isa 53:4-5, Matt 8:16-17). Healing has already been provided for any physical, mental, or spiritual need that stands before you by the stripes that were laid upon Jesus' back and the finished work of the Cross.

Now you will have to believe God's report (Isa 53:1) above the doctor's report and the only way you can do that is by looking at and meditating (thinking on) God's report instead of the doctor's report (I didn't say ignore the doctor's report, I said don't dwell on it). God's report needs to be coming out of your mouth instead of the doctor's report. When people ask you how you are doing, give them God's report instead of the doctor's report by saying, "I'm walking healed in the light of God's Word for His report says, " that by His stripes I WAS healed" (1 Pet 2:24). Now your flesh will want to agree with the doctor's report, but your born again spirit will want to agree with God's report. Be led by your spirit and not your flesh.

Instead of being fearful and dreading the doctor's report, use it to your advantage. Realize that your enemy's attack against you has been exposed in your body and now you can direct your faith at it according to what Jesus said in Mark 11:22-24. He said to speak to the mountain (that problem that has been revealed in the doctor's report), NOT to speak about it, for all this does is make the mountain bigger and your God smaller, so who do you think would be behind that kind of speaking? Yes, you are right, the devil. Jesus said we are to command that mountain to remove itself from us. You have the name of that mountain in your life because the doctor's report has identified it, now all that is required of the Believer to do is to speak to it by calling it's name and commanding it to leave (here is a good place to read Phil 2:9-11).

If that mountain acts as if it's not paying any attention to you, just keep your eyes on the Word of God's Promises and keep His Word coming out of your mouth, and then one day you will look up from the Word and somewhere along your stand of faith, it left you.

The devil will try to use the doctor's report against you by producing fear. The only answer to fear is Faith. Fear will kill you, faith will bring life (God's life, everlasting life). If you will make the doctor's report your friend instead of your enemy, you will obtain the victory that Jesus has already provided you, because you will be in faith instead of fear and when you are in faith you shall live and not die and declare the mighty works of God (Ps 118:17).

God's intent for that doctor's report is to work for you and not against you. If you will use it that way, you will be victorious (1 Cor 15:57) and you will be a witness (Acts 1:8) to God's goodness and faithfulness to all those around you.

Now, whose report are you going to believe? (Isa 53:1)

* I wrote a blog post on Oct 17, 2009 entitled "What Light Do You Read By? That posting will fit very nicely with what God has put on my heart that I am sharing with you in today's post.

The Just Shall Live By Faith--Have You Heard That Before?

God said in Heb 10:38 "Now the just shall live by faith". Who are the "just"? Are you? If you have received Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior, then you have been justified before God by and through the blood of His Son Jesus and therefore you have been placed in right standing with God (you have been made Righteous). You have been delivered from the power of darkness (this world's system and from the god of this World, the devil) and translated (to carry from one state to another) into the Kingdom of the Son of His love (the Kingdom of God).

Therefore the child of God, the Believer (the just one), has been commanded by God to live by faith. God said "shall", not should, so I'm not sure why the majority of the church feels as if they have an option. To not live by faith is to be in disobedience to God. Now Heb 10:38 is very clear. Then why is there so few of God's children living by faith? Why would they disregard God's command to them and live another way? If you aren't living by faith, then why aren't you? Heb 11:6 says it's impossible to please God without faith, so if you are trying to please God any other way (most likely by your works) you are not pleasing God. The only way to put a smile on God's face is by believing Him (that is faith). I didn't say by believing "in Him" for that is nothing more then mental assent (knowledge of Him), I said, "believing Him" by believing His Word or by believing what Jesus says for He is the Living Word of God made flesh. If you believe Him, you will be doing what He says. If you believe "in" Him only, then you'll be doing what everybody else thinks and says is the right thing to do.

God has said, "the just SHALL live by faith". Jesus said, "when I return, will I find faith on the earth"(Luke 18:8). Why is it so hard to find faith on the earth when 70% of the people in this country (U.S.) profess to be Christians. You know the term Christian means we are to be Christ like or just as Christ. When you look at Jesus, you see a man (the Son of Man) living by faith in God. Do you look like that? Why not? God has commanded us to live that way, then why can't I find anybody doing it?

Because faith comes from God and it is given to man, so that man can believe his God. It's the very thing God uses to enable fellowship between Himself and His children. God declares His Word, and the child of God believes it and receives from God. They have fellowship one with another. It's truly pleasing to God when His children believe Him.

Faith was designed by God to be used in the Spiritual Realm. Faith is a spiritual force that was to be used by a spiritual being (man) to interact with His God, but when Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden after being deceived by the devil, his spirit died, and he lost his spiritual contact with God and the Spirit Realm, and now had to survive without God in the Natural, Physical Realm and take care of himself. (Does this sound familiar?)

The Good News is that Jesus went to the Cross and paid the price for Adam's sin, and ever since the Cross, man has been given a way back to a right relationship with God by receiving the sacrifice of Jesus as his own payment for his sin by making Jesus the Lord and Savior of his life. This man is now born again with a brand new spirit that is free from sin, the Spirit of Jesus Himself. And now the ability to believe God is now residing in his heart once again and that is why God commands the man to live by faith, because God knows the man has the ability to do it, and it is that pleasing fellowship that God desires with him.

So what's the problem? Everything has been put back in it's proper place between God and man. However that same one (the devil) that deceived Adam in the Garden, is still doing the same thing today. Unfortunately, the born again man today (the church) is more willing to believe the lies of the devil rather than the promises of God. Why?

One reason and one reason only. They choose to walk according to their flesh and not according to the Spirit. (Rom 8:1) Faith operates in the unseen realm of the Spirit, but the majority of God's children try to live by faith in the natural realm and it just won't work there. They take the Word of God and set it up next to what they see and feel and the devil comes to confirm what they see and feel, and then speaks lies about the Word of God not being true for their situation, and the child of God becomes deceived and agrees with the devil instead of agreeing with God.

Rom 8:5-6 says, "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death (separated from God's Word of truth by the devil's deception) but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (this is God's realm, the realm of the Spirit where faith from a man can hook into the life of God).

So there is your answer. I see the Church, but I don't see faith. 2 Cor 5:7 says, "For we walk by faith and not by sight", but the majority of the Church has another version of that scripture that reads, "for we walk by sight, and not by faith", because they say this is reasonable and faith is unreasonable. Here is why the Church persecutes the man among them that walks by faith. They side with the devil to do all they can to destroy this man of faith, because they want to hold fast to what they believe and are threatened by someone who would literally believe God at His Word.

The carnal man (Christian) says, "I just call it as I see it" (not as God sees it). If he is sick, he will say he is sick, and he will say that until he sees something else.

The spiritual man (Christian) says the same thing, "I just call it as I see it" (as God sees it). He is not looking at what the carnal man is looking at. He instead is looking at what the Word of God says about his situation and he believes the Word over what he sees with his natural eyes but rather declares what his spiritual eyes see by calling those things that be not as though they were (Rom 4:17). Do you know who else does that? God Himself!! And His kids should be acting just like Him?

When God looks at your house, will He find faith there? You have no excuse before God. If you are born again, He has placed the measure of faith in you (Rom 12:3). What have you done with it? God says you shall live by faith, what do you say?

Unbelief--That's A Dangerous Place To Be

It's not that I can't believe God and what He says, but rather I choose to believe something else because I choose to believe what I see, feel or think over what God has said. I choose to elevate what I see over what God says. I choose to be in control.

The underlying problem of why I can't believe God's word is PRIDE. I choose to exalt what I think, see, and feel, over what God says is true. I exalt my evidence (what I see) over God's evidence (His Word). Faith (believing God) is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Heb 11:1) If I am believing God for healing, then the evidence of my healing is found in His Word. This is the evidence that works for me. If I look anywhere else, like my own body, or the doctor's report, this becomes evidence that works against me, for it will oppose the Word of God. God asks man a question in Isa 53:1. "Who has believed the report of the Lord?". What you choose to believe will determine your outcome.

To not believe God, is to believe something else. Unbelief is to choose to believe one thing over another. Unbelief is not non-belief. Non-belief means you don't believe anything and that is impossible (for you see, whatever you find yourself doing, that is what you believe, because you'll only do what you believe). Unbelief is to choose what you believe over what someone else believes. When Jesus marveled at their unbelief (Mark 6:6) , He was marveling at the fact the people chose to believe what they thought over what God said.

Where there is unbelief, there is no faith and where there is no faith, there is no access into the Grace of God to obtain help (salvation- deliverance, restoration, healing, being made whole) for whatever you have need of. (Rom 5:1-2).

Faith is always present. Faith has been deposited into a man to enable him to believe. God made man this way, for what a man believes, he will do. If a man believes what he thinks, feels, and sees over what God says, then he is believing himself over God. He is in belief towards himself and unbelief towards God.

Whatever a man believes, man will say out of his mouth, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth will speak (Matt 12:34), and Jesus said you will have what you say (Mark 11:23),why? Because you believe it.

If you look at your body and it says to you, "I'm sick", and you agree with it, then you will be believing that you are a sick man. But if you look at your body and it says "I'm sick" and you say, "God said Jesus bore my sickness and carried my diseases (Matt 8:17) and by His stripes I was healed (1 Pet 2:24), therefore I choose to believe God over what you (my body) are saying to me", then you are agreeing with God and believing that you are a healed man because of what God says over what your body is saying. You are in belief towards God and unbelief towards your body. Does this seem extreme or fanatical to you? The reason for that is you are choosing to live your life in the natural realm, but God lives in the Spirit realm and that is where He is asking you to live your life for He said, "the just shall live by faith" (Heb 10:38) and faith only operates in the Spirit Realm and what I just shared with you in the above scenario does not look extreme or fanatical where God lives. The natural realm is subject to the spiritual realm and the spirit realm can change things in the natural realm (Heb 1:1-4).

I choose to believe God's Word to me over what I think, see, or feel. I exalt God to the highest place in my life, and I choose to bow my knee to Him and submit to Him and I do this by submitting to His Word for God and His Word are One (John1:1). Then I resist the devil (who brought the sickness) and I command that sickness to loose it's grip on my body and then I command it to flee. (James 4:7)

The devil roams about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Pet 5:8). He needs your permission to devour you and you give it to him when you don't resist him and run him off. He will devour the one who believes what he thinks, feels, and sees over what God says, because the devil knows that this man has done exactly what he (the devil) did, he (the devil) tried to exalt his throne above God's by doing what he thought over what God said (Isa 14:12-15). This is called PRIDE and it originated with the devil and pride defeated him and pride will defeat you also. The devil got kicked out of Heaven, and the man who doesn't believe God gets kicked out of the promises of Heaven.

Whatever part of God's Word a man can not believe, he will not have any access to. To not believe God is to believe something else and you'll have what you believe.

If sickness wants to live in your body and you don't want it to, then you will have to resist it, and run it out by saying what God says over what your body is saying. God has equipped you to do it, but you will have to believe Him over what you think, see, or feel.

It all boils down to, who is going to be God in this situation? Are you going to exalt yourself above God's throne by exalting what you think over what God thinks (Isa 55:8-9), or are you going to trust God and allow Him to rule and reign in your life (Prov 3:5-6), by you believing what God says over what you think, see, or feel.

It's not that you can't believe God, but rather you choose to believe something else. Bottom line, this is sin, and sin separates you from the blessing of God, and exposes you to the curse and the effects of the curse (Ex: sickness, poverty, lack, depression, anxiety, addiction, etc.).

God has revealed this truth to us today so that we would know how dangerous unbelief is. He has shown us the truth behind unbelief which is our choice to worship another God over the One True God. This is serious stuff. You and I are now armed with the truth, and if we choose to believe that truth, it will set us free from the curse. (John 8:32) God says, "I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, choose life (God even gives us the right choice)" (Deut 30:19).

What choice do you make today?

Are You Hearing Good News? It's Life & Death

The Word of God, the Bible, is Good News...........not Bad News. (Why do I see so many sad faces at chruch?)

Every issue of life that comes against you, God has Good News in response to it.

Everyday that you wake up, God has Good News waiting for you, but the world has bad news waiting for you. What news are you going to look at and hear and then respond to?

The doctor gives you a report that you are sick and there is no cure, and you will die because of it. Jesus gives you His report that He paid the price for that sickness by bearing that sickness in His own body for you (Matt 8:17) and that by the stripes that were laid on His back you were healed. (1 Pet 2:24) Also in Ps 118:17 God's promise to you is, "you shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord". Which report are you going to believe? The bad news or the Good News? It's your choice. Which ever report you believe will determine your outcome. If you believe the doctor more than you believe Jesus, then you will die. If you believe Jesus more than the doctor, you will live.

God is a good God Who has declared to us Good News!

Jesus said, " according to your faith, be it done unto you." (Matt 9:29) If you believe the Good News, then the Good news will come. If you believe the bad news, then the bad news will come. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Prov 18:21), because what you believe dwells in your heart (Rom 10:10) and what you believe in your heart you will say with your mouth. The words that come out of your mouth will always tell you and God what you believe.

Fill your heart full of God's report, the Good News, instead of the doctor's report, bad news, and the words that come out of your mouth will sound just like God's report and you will have what you say because Jesus said you would. (Mark 11:23). Do you believe Him? It's a matter of life and death. God's news is always Good News. Good News awaits you everyday. The choice is all yours. Now that is God's will for you. What will you do with it? Because your will and not God's, will be the determining factor for God has already declared His will to you by declaring His Word of Promise to you.

Choose the Good News and live.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell you. It takes faith to choose the Good News of God over the bad news. That is why God said, "the just shall live by faith" (Heb 10:38)

Romans 1:1 -- The Apostle Paul was separated to the Good News of God. We that believe in Jesus must separate ourselves to the Good News just like Paul did and live our lives according to that Good News.

Good News or bad news, the choice is yours!!!!!!!!!

The Just Shall Live By Faith--How Come?

Why does God say, "the just shall live by faith"? (Heb 10:38) Why does a born again man need to live by faith?

So that Jesus can live His life through that man/woman. When I'm born again, my old spirit died, and Jesus' Spirit came and replaced it. (Gal 2:20, Paul says, "I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me). Terry died and Jesus lives within me.

The only way Terry lives now is by me allowing my flesh body to reign and rule me according to the old man, the old way of being. But if I surrender to the One who now lives within me, the Spirit of Jesus, then it will be Jesus living His life in and through my body. To allow Jesus to live His life through me, requires me to live by faith (in God and His ways that I see in the Word) and not by sight (what I think or feel about it).

To live by faith is to be surrendered to God and His ways. I live my life through the Spirit of Jesus that dwells within me. The way Jesus shows me how He wants to live through me is by revealing His Word to Me. He is the Word and the Word is God (Jn 1:1). When I look at the Word, I see the One dwelling within Me and I also can see how He wants to live. I can see what He wants to do. I see Him as He walked this earth teaching, preaching and healing and that is exactly what He still wants to do now, except He is using my body to do it with instead of His. Jesus said, "Whatever I see the Father do, I do." (Jn 5:19), so I say, "whatever I see Jesus do, then that's what I'll be doing, because it's Jesus who lives within me and He is going to continue to do what He always did. To live by faith is nothing more than to allow Jesus to live His life through me.

Why did the Father call me to Jesus? So that I would be willing to be born again with His Spirit and make a place for Jesus to live His life through me with the benefit of me getting to live my life through Him. When I lay my hands on sick people, I'm doing that out of obedience to the Word of God (Jesus) which tells me how Jesus lives, and the purpose of Jesus' life. Jesus' purpose has now become my purpose. My only reason for living is for Him.

But God has said in His Word that if I would choose to live by faith and allow His Son Jesus to live His life through me, then I would be His son also, and that He would supply everything I need for this life and even give me the desires of my heart by adding those things to my life. (Ps 37:4)

Living by faith is the highest calling of life for a man. It's the reason for man to be here. God created man for fellowship and Jesus put His Spirit in the first man Adam that brought God's life to him. Adam's spirit that was filled with God's life, died when Adam sinned, but Jesus sacrificed Himself on the Cross for sinful man, and now man once again can have the Spirit of God (Jesus) living within him, and God the Father can now have the sons and daughters He has always wanted.

My responsibility as a born-again child of God is to live by faith, which means to let Jesus live His life through me, while I'm on this earth, and if I'll do that, God will be well pleased with me, and I will forever live with God throughout eternity.

My goal in this life on earth is not only to be like Him, but to let Him live through me, for if I'll do that, I will look just like him of course.

Am I willing to let Jesus live through me? If I won't live by faith, then I'm not willing to let Jesus live His life through me. I don't ever want to be found at this place. To live for myself is to keep Jesus hidden from a world that desperately needs to see Him.

Am I willing? Are you willing? The way you and I live will answer that question. To live by faith, is to live by what Jesus believes. Jesus is the Living Word. He believes what He is. That same Word lives in me. I believe what I am also, and bless God I'm going to live that way.

The Schemes of the Devil--You Better Know Them

Every thought of temptation that comes from the devil is always a thought that is in direct opposition to what God has declared as Truth in His Word. Every thought that the devil brings to you is for the intent of leading you away from the Truth. The devil always waits until you have left your time of fellowship with Jesus and the Father to bring his thoughts to you. When you are looking at the Lord by looking at the Word (the Word is Jesus Himself--Jn 1:1) and fellow shipping with with God by meditating His Word, there is no place available for the devil and his thoughts. You're in that secret place (Ps 91:1) called faith, for faith comes as you hear and look at the Word.

But when you leave the place of fellowship with God, the devil will come and try to steal the Word that you received from God, by giving you another thought that usually will try to generate fear. The devil is after your faith, and he uses fear to get it. The devil also uses one other tactic to steal from you. He uses the very same thing against you that separated him from God and got him thrown out of Heaven. The devil uses pride. Pride is where you think more highly of yourself than you ought to. Pride is what tempts you to exalt your throne above God's (by exalting what you think about something over what God thinks about it), just like the devil tried to do (Isa 14: 12-14). God said, "you'll have no other God's before you" (Ex 20:3), and that includes yourself. When you exalt what you think above what God thinks, you're in serious trouble and most vulnerable to the devil.

You see the perfect example of this as you look at Jesus on the Mount of Temptation (Matt 4:1-11). Jesus had just fasted and prayed, or you can say it this way, Jesus had just spent 40 days fellow shipping with the Father, and with that completed, He realized He was hungry. Jesus knew that His Father would supply the food that He needed because His Father is the Lord God Provider ( Jehovah-Jireh meaning "the Lord will provide". This is one of the seven redemptive names of God). But the devil came immediately and tempted Jesus to look away from the Truth, and exalt Himself in that situation by trying to get Jesus to take care of Himself by having Jesus prove that He was the Son of God by speaking to the stones (see, even the devil knows how the Kingdom of God works) and telling them to turn into bread so that Jesus could take care of Himself by eating that bread. But instead of Jesus taking the devil's bait of temptation, He responded with the Word of Truth (His Father's Word), and said, "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matt 4:4).

If you don't have the Word of God abiding in you, then you'll not be able to resist the devil's temptation when he comes to kill, steal, and destroy you. For example, when the devil comes and says, "you are sick, the doctor said so, and he said your going to die, and that's exactly what is going to happen to you", and unless you have the Word of Truth abiding in your heart (your spirit, the real you), you'll give into the fear the devil has brought to you and you'll believe the lie. And when you believe the lie, then that is what you will speak from your mouth. You'll hear those words out of your own mouth and they will produce fear. And if you are in fear, you are not in faith. But, if you have God's Word in your heart in abundance, you will respond to the devil's temptation in faith by saying, " Jesus bore my sicknesses and carried my diseases (Matt 8:17) and by His stripes I am healed (1 Pet 2:24), therefore, I shall live and not die and declare the works of the Lord (Ps 118:17), for God has said to me, because you love Me (My Word) I will satisfy you with long life and show you my salvation (Ps 91:14-16)." With God's Word in my heart, I'll take my stand of faith and resist the devil's lies with the Word of Truth.

Let me say it again, every word (thought) that the devil speaks to you is always in direct opposition to God's Word of Truth. You'll believe the lie if you are moved by fear. But you will believe God's Word if you are moved by faith. Which ever word you believe and act on, that is what you will receive.

Meditate on the Word day and night (Josh 1:8). Keep it in your heart in abundance, so that your mouth can be filled with the Word of God whenever you need it, and trust me, you'll need it, because the devil is always after that Word that is in your heart (because it will produce faith) and he will do anything you let him to get it.

Now Jesus said in Mark 11:23, " he (a man/woman) who believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatsoever he says". Now this scripture has so riled up the Church over these last 40 years. It's caused divisions and splits among Christian brothers. Who does that sound like? Who do you think is behind that? The devil knows the Word of God better than most Christians. He has distorted that truth (believing what you say) by tempting man's flesh with it, and men have carelessly misused this Word to fulfill their own lust. But, nevertheless, the Truth behind what Jesus said is still true (today). It's a spiritual law. It works just like the natural law of gravity. It always works when applied. ALWAYS! And the devil knows this, so he knows if he can get you believe with your heart (the lie) and say out of your mouth what he says (instead of what God says), then you will have what you say and he will kill you with your own words.

If you want to live and not die, then you are going to have to do what Jesus did. He said, "I only do what I see the Father do (John 5:19), and I only say what the Father says (John 8:28).
Whatever situation of life that stands before you, you must say what God says about it and live and have victory, for if you say what the devil says about it, you will lose and be destroyed.

Read Josh 1:8 and Ps 1 and do what it says. The key to strong overcoming faith is meditating the word. If you don't like the word meditate, than I'll say it this way, just spend time in the Word, for that is where the Life of God is hidden. And that God life will come alive in you when you put that Word in your heart. Hold fast to the Word of God and it will hold fast to you.

And remember this Truth as well. "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Gal 6:7)". Sow the seed of God's Word in your heart today and when the devil comes to plant his seeds, run him off. Which crop are you going to allow to grow in your heart?
