Do I Really Know Him?

You have to walk with Jesus to know Him. You can learn about Jesus by studying the bible and other books and know all about Him, but you'll never know Him until you walk with Him. How do you walk with Jesus? You walk by faith and not by sight. You live your life constantly aware of Jesus's presence and you talk with Him continuously as you go about your day. You are always asking Him, before you do it. You're always asking for wisdom and direction. What I see Jesus do in the Word, that is what I do, believing that Jesus will enable me to do it. I must believe He is right there with me at all times. Where ever I go, I must realize He is right there with me to show me what to do. It's only in this close relationship that I truly know Him. There is One that sticks closer than a brother, His name is Jesus. Jesus is looking for the one who will fellowship with Him in this manner. For it is to this one that Jesus will reveal Himself to, and this one will truly know Him.

It is the Father Who desires this relationship for a man/woman with His Son Jesus, because this is the only way the Father can fellowship with His man/woman. ( John 14:23 says "Jesus answered and said to him, if anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him and We will come to him and make Our home with him". Do you think you might know Jesus and the Father any better if they were living in your house with you?). God desires the man/woman to be one with Him so that the man/woman will go and do the things that Jesus desires to do. The Father is looking for that man/woman who desires this relationship with His Son. Are you that man or woman? If so, you are the most blessed man/woman on the face of the earth today. For blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord.

Come out from behind the desk of learning about Jesus, and come and walk with Him. For as you walk together you will really begin to know Him and that is what He has wanted all along and also that we would be well known by Him for He wants to know us as much as much as we want to know Him. This truly is the relationship the Father has called us to with His Son. No better relationship could we be found in.

He walks with me and He talks with me, therefore I know Him and I am forever grateful for it because this is the relationship I will spend eternity with. Know Him and be known by Him. There is no greater place to be.

How Come I'm Not Receiving From God?

God spoke the following to my heart and I'll share it just like God gave it to me. " My people know how to believe, but they don't receive from me because they don't know how to believe Me for the things that they need. They believe in Me, in who I AM, and what I can do, they just can't believe that I will do it for them. They hope I will, but they don't believe I will and therefore they see no results from their prayers and therefore conclude that it wasn't My will for them to have it. But this is not true. My people perish for a lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6).

Faith (or your believing) begins where the will of God is known. I can't believe God until I know His will for me. God's word is His will. Jesus was God's will manifested in the flesh for man to see. Whatever God has revealed to us in His word, we can be assured that is His will. The ability to receive from God is in your believing. James 4:3 says " you ask and do not receive because you ask amiss", or you ask wrongly. How do you ask wrongly? By not believing that you receive what you ask for when you pray. Believing produces receiving. How do you receive? By accepting God's word as truth, then believing whatever part of that truth that speaks to your circumstance is yours and you believe that you receive it. It comes no other way from God. We must believe to receive. That's why people try all sorts of different ways to get what they need, because they can believe in the world's system easier then they can in God's Kingdom ways. They are familiar with the world and how a person lives within the world system, but they are ignorant of God's ways. When they first look upon God's ways, it looks so strange and unfamiliar so they draw back to what they know and are comfortable with. Then they don't receive what they need from God and justify their position by saying it was not God's will for them. But the bottom line is they did not want to take the time to renew their mind so that they would be able to think like God thinks, and then God's ways would not look so strange and unattainable to them. It takes a lot of effort and desire to renew your mind to think differently then it once did.

Very few people are willing to pay the price for the renewed mind. Every man has the opportunity, but few take it. God will never change His way to get you the things that you need. You are the one that has to make the change to receive from God. God requires faith, therefore let us live the way God requires us to live, " The just shall live by faith" (Heb 10:38). Why? So that God has a way to get to His people the things that they need and desire. God is not holding out on you, He is waiting for you to believe Him.

We all know that God can. But will He do it for me? If He has declared it in His word, then that becomes His will for me(and you). He will do it, and He will do it for me(and you). All the promises of God are "Yes" and Amen".(2 Cor 1:20) . If you are a believer "in Him" then you have a right to "believe" Him. This is the believer's inheritance.

No go and be blessed so that you can go and be a blessing to someone else. Freely you have received, freely give.

Are You Growing Dull of Hearing

Sometimes I can hear God very easily and then there are times that I can't and this used to bother me until the Lord revealed why this was happening. We must be doers of the word. Doing the word is the key to hearing the word. To get more understanding (of the word) you must do what you already know to receive more (understanding) of what God has. Revelation comes from doing. The more you do, the more you know.

God spoke this to my heart at a time that I wasn't hearing Him very well, so I will share it the way He said it. " The reason you lose interest in My word( I found that since I wasn't hearing God, I lost interest in the word) is because you won't do it. I'll only allow you to hear it for a season, but if you don't do what you hear, you are only being entertained by My word. It brings joy to your soul as you read it and consider it, because faith rises within you. But at this point you must go and do that which is bringing joy to you. If you choose not to do it, I will allow your heart to grow dull towards Me and your ears I will stop from you hearing the truth that comes forth from My words and they will only be words on a piece of paper once again. You must do My word to continue hearing my word that I speak to you and reveal to you. I have designed it to work just this way."

I've come to understand that this is God's way of insuring His fellowship with His children. He knows that the only way we will grow in our understanding is by hearing Him and the only way this is going to happen is if we spend time with Him. He reveals His word, then we go put it into action. The more I do, the more I hear. The more I hear, the more I want. The more I want, the more time I need to spend with my Father and Jesus. And it's then that the Holy Spirit begins to teach me more and so it goes on and on. This is my most favorite place to be. With my ears wide open and God's voice coming in loud and clear.

So now when it begins to grow quite the first thing I do is ask myself, "are you doing what God has shown me to do and just how much time have I been spending at the feet of Jesus?" When I honestly answer these questions, then I realize why it has grown quite. But the good news is, I know how to turn up the volume and hear from heaven once again.

If it's quite at your place then do what God has shared with you today and turn up the volume.

What Measuring Tool Do You Use?

Why do we fail with walking in faith so much? We choose to do the word which is the right thing to do. We start out right by being led by the Spirit. But as soon as we get started on our faith journey, the devil comes to oppose us. What does the devil do to stop the journey of faith of the believer? The devil gets the believer to measure the validity of the truth of the Word he is believing and following by what he sees, hears and feels. The devil takes the believer from the spirit realm to the physical/natural realm. The devil gets the believer to measure what he is believing in the spirit realm (that's the Word realm) to what he sees in the physical realm. 99.5% of believers fail in their walk of faith because they use the wrong measuring tool. What you see, feel and hear will never line up with what God says in His Word when you are in the midst of the battle. The measuring tool the believer must use when he is following the word of God through the midst of the battle is the Word itself. Everything you are confronted with and experience must be measured by what God's Word says only. You stand on that Word no matter what is going on around you (Isa 50:7) and God will watch over that Word and perform it (Jer1:12) in His perfect timing, not yours, for all the promises of God are "Yes" and "Amen" (1Cor1:20). If you are going to live by faith, then you must have the right measuring tool in your possessen at all times. You only need one tool, "the Word of God". Your only question when you stand before the mountain is, "what does the Word say". Then when you have spoken that Word to the mountain in faith (Mark 11:23) for it to be removed and you look and see that the mountain is still standing there, that's when you take out the right measuring tool to maintain your stand of faith. God's measuring tool is perfect and it will produce what you are believing for. Measure it right for the right result. Be Blessed!!
