The High Life. What A Way To Live!

If you are going to walk with God and live by faith, then there is something you must settle with yourself once and for all. You must settle this fact and never allow it to be debated in your mind again, and that is Isa 55:8-9 which says, " For My (God's) thoughts are not your thoughts (did you know that God doesn't think like the world thinks?) nor are your ways My ways (settle this right now), says the Lord, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts (settle it, before your eyes look at anything else, settle this Truth from God).

If you are going to live by faith, then you are going to live by a Higher standard, God's standard. Whenever you look at something or hear something you must understand that what you are hearing about a situation (H1N1 for example) or what you are looking at, this will always be saying something to you. It will be speaking the world's language and you will naturally want to think about it like the world thinks. But God has already told us in Rom 12:2 that the Believer must renew his mind to a super natural way of thinking, Why? So that we can think like God thinks, and if we will think like God thinks, then we will go and do what God does, and what is it that God does, well, just take a look at Jesus and you will see it loud and clear.

Whatever you or I think about a situation or circumstance that we find ourselves in, always know that God has a higher thought about it. You will find all of God's thoughts and what He thinks about anything and everything pertaining to this life you and I are living on this earth in His Word (2 Pet 1:3). If we will then think like God thinks and do it God's way, then we will receive what God thinks about it, instead of what we think about it. This is, "living by faith"
(Heb 10:38).

Here is an example of what I am sharing with you today. You go to the doctors and he diagnoses a health problem you are having and he gives you the report of his findings. He names the disease and tells you that you have 3 months to live and there is nothing else that can be done. If you act on that report and think along the same level as that report, then you will receive what that report is saying to you. BUT here is what God is saying, " who will believe MY report?"
(Isa 53:1) . First thing you must understand is that God's report is Higher than that doctor's report and here is what God's report says, " By His (Jesus') stripes you were healed (1 Pet 2:24), Jesus Himself took your infirmities and bore your sicknesses (Matt 8:17), all things are possible to him who believes (believes what? God's report!!) (Mark 9:23), you shall live and not die (Ps 118:17).

Now if you and I will step up to this Higher report and believe it instead of that lower report, then we will receive what the Higher report declares. Now I said you must BELIEVE it. Not just know it, but BELIEVE it. If you do, you will be living your life at that Higher place. That is the real "High Life". God has made a way for you and I to live there, but the choice is all ours. Choose this day, the High way or the low (the world's) way, His thoughts or our thoughts. His way is the way of life, the world's way is the way of death. I know which way I'm choosing, how about you? I'll see you on the HIGHway!!

Rightly Discerning Those Stripes On Jesus' Back

Before you read this post, I would suggest you grab your Bible and read 1 Cor 11: 23-31 to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying about taking Communion and examining yourself before you take the Elements, for verse 27 says " therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord". Now I will share the revelation that the Holy Spirit shared with me concerning this subject........

As important as the Blood of Jesus is because it paid the price for our sin, I want to share with you about Jesus' body that was broken for you. To rightly discern Jesus' body is to recognize and see that those stripes that were laid on His body paid the price for my (and your) healing. (Isa 53:4-5 & 1 Pet 2:24). Rightly discerning those stripes leads to the understanding that healing for man's physical body is a finished work, there is nothing else that Jesus has to do for you or me to be healed. He's already paid the price for the healing of your body just like He has already paid the price for your sin. All I must do to be healed now is to receive my healing by faith in those stripes.

Next, I must judge my body according to what I have discerned from Jesus' body. When I look at my body and I see sickness there, then I am responsible to make a judgment concerning it's (the sickness's) right to be there. Therefore as I judge, I determine that if Jesus has already paid the price for my body to be healed, then this sickness is trespassing on my body and I judge that it has no right to be there, therefore I exercise the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (Rom 8:2) by resisting the sickness and commanding it to leave my body in Jesus Name. I am responsible to make this judgment then carry out the action necessary to fulfill the judgment. I pass sentence on that sickness by commanding it to leave my body and I enforce the sentence by holding firm in my faith as I look at those stripes on Jesus back and continue to look at the Word of God which declares to me from Genesis to Revelation that my God has provided healing for my body. As I look at these things, I know I have judged my body correctly by believing that my body should be healed and not sick. Sickness has no right to be on my body, therefore I judge that accordingly and command it to get off my body.

I now proclaim the truth of this judgment by praising God and declaring with my mouth, "that by His stripes I was healed, therefore I am", then I hold on to this verdict by faith until I see the sentence carried out. I must enforce this judgment and sentence until I see the finished work of healing that has already been done in Jesus' body and now is being done in my body.

If I'll do this, then I'll not be judged by God as one who has not enforced His judgment upon His enemy satan, but if I don't do this then I leave myself open to sickness, disease, and pain that will surely come and remain if the proper judgment is not made against it. God will judge me as one who has heard His Word, but chooses not to do it. Therefore because of my choice, the ruling that comes from God in His judgment of me is guilty of not enforcing His Word, and the result of that judgment is that sickness and disease will remain in my body as a trespasser because I refuse to run it out. If I do it God's way then I'll get God's results which is, I'll not be weak, sickly, or die prematurely (1 Cor 11:30).

Here in lies the truth of Communion. God wants us to take Communion often, so that we will rightly discern the body and blood of Jesus so that we can walk free from sin, sickness, disease, and pain. The next time you take Communion, judge yourself according to what God has revealed to us today, then walk free from whatever the enemy is holding against you. God has made the way for you to be free, the choice is all yours.

So let me close with this summary and try to smooth this out: Jesus' body was broken by the stripes that were laid upon Him so that your body could be whole. When you take communion, you rightly discern and judge those stripes on Jesus' body as full payment for your body to be whole (strong, healthy, nothing missing, nothing broken, fully complete). Next you examine your body to ensure that it is whole. If not (if sickness, disease, pain is present), you judge that sickness as a trespasser. You take authority over it and command it to leave, for it has no right to be there. Now you take the bread, which is the broken body of Christ for you, and you thank God for your healing, then you take and eat believing in your heart that you are healed because of those stripes. Then don't you let go of that thought, and hold fast to your faith until the manifestation of that healing comes to pass. Having done all to stand, just stand!! God is faithful and He will watch over His Word to perform it!!

Be Blessed and Be Whole

What Light Do You Read By?

Ps 119:105 declares this truth, "Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my Path".

When you receive a bad report, (now you notice I didn't say IF you receive a bad report, I said WHEN you receive a bad report, because Jesus said in John 16:33, "In the world YOU WILL HAVE tribulation", therefore you will so) what lamp do you turn on to see and read the bad report with? The God of the kingdom of this world's (2 Cor 4:4) lamp or the God of the Kingdom of Heaven's lamp?

The lamp you turn on determines what you will see. If you turn satan's lamp on, you will see death. But if you turn on Jesus' lamp you will see the Father and you will see life. What lamp that you choose to turn on will determine your outcome. Now I hope you notice here that "you" are the one who determines what lamp you are going to turn on. You have to understand that your flesh will reach for satan's lamp, but if your spirit has been born again (John 3:3), it will want to reach for Jesus' lamp. The lamp you reach out for will show you who is in command of your steps. Your flesh, or your spirit.

The light that shines forth from the lamp that you turn on, will determine what you see. If your flesh turns on satan's lamp then you will see what Prov 14:12 declares, "there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of that way is death", but if your spirit turns Jesus' light on then you will see John 10:10 where Jesus says, "I have come that you may have life and that you may have it more abundantly". So, what lamp do you want to read this bad report by? What light do you want shining on the report you are reading, the one that leads to life or death?

Now the really good news here is that you get to choose which lamp you are going to turn on and read this report by. This is the way God has made it for man. He said in Deut 30:19, "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live". Now just in case you are undecided after you hear God's options, He gives you a hint on what to choose. Actually, it is more than a hint, it's a loud cry, "Choose Life".

If you read the bad report by satan's lamp, fear will rise up and direct you to make decisions that will lead you to death. But if you read the bad report by Jesus' lamp, then faith will rise up and direct you to make decisions that lead to life. God has said His people shall live by faith(Heb 10:38) so again He is telling us what lamp to turn on to see the bad report.

So if you are looking at a doctor's report and it says, " we have done all we can for you and there is nothing else we can do for you", the light you are reading this report by will determine your outcome. Satan's lamp will declare, "you will surely die, for there is no hope for you", but Jesus' lamp will declare, "you shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord" (Ps 118:17).

Now, what light do you want shining on your report? Make the choice today to reach for Jesus' lamp and turn the light of God on and live. Not just live, but live more abundantly, that's Jesus' promise and you'll only see that promise come to pass when you turn Jesus' light on.

Who Do You Look Like?

I have to go beyond knowing (God's Word) to believing (God's Word). It's one thing to know something, but it's another thing to believe what you know. Here in lies the difference between receiving from God and not receiving. To step over from knowing to believing is the part that Jesus does in the born again believer's heart. Jesus is the One who will make a believer out of you.
(Look at Heb 12:2 then keep on looking at it until you believe it.) How will you know when you are a believer? When you act like one. What does a believer act like? He acts according to the Word. Whatever the word says, that is what he does, because he believes it. When you act according to the Word, you'll look just like the Word. Do you know what the Word looks like? It looks just like Jesus, for Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14), therefore when you do the Word, you'll look just like Him and that is what He and the Father have wanted all along. So go and act like Him and let's you and me go and turn the world up side down, just like those who have gone before us. Let's go show the world what Jesus looks like!!

My Hearts Desire Shared With You

I have just returned from South Africa and my heart is so filled with God and His purposes for man on the earth. God has captured my heart yet again in a new and fresh way. As I was before the Lord in prayer, a desire in my heart came forth and I want to share that with you, so that you might share with me and gain some understanding of what walking in close fellowship with the Lord will do to your heart. The following is what came forth out of my heart...........

" I not only want to live the rest of my life for You, I want to live it in the way that it pleases You the most. It's impossible to please God without faith, therefore You have declared "the just shall live by faith", for one purpose only, to bring pleasure to You. It is my hearts desire today to be one of Your children that brings pleasure to You in all I do and say. I want to be so consumed with You that there is room for nothing else. Take me Jesus to this place that my heart longs to be at. All I am is Yours Lord and that is the way I desire to live my life. Therefore what I do, We will do, for I choose to do nothing without You, therefore I choose this day to put my life into Your hands, and do with it as You please. But for me to say that I realize I must live my life at all times in a way that it is pleasing in Your sight, and the only way I can do that is to live by faith. Jesus help me with my journey of faith. I look to You, because You've already gone before me and shown me the way. There is no one who has pleased the Father with their life more than You. Help me live that same life before the Father. I long for it, it's my hearts desire. I will keep my eyes on You, Jesus for You said, "I am the Way,the Truth, and the Life". Who else would I follow for these things but You. Take me there Jesus, I am following You with all my heart. Take me to that pleasing place before the Father, the place of faith, where there is an aroma that comes up to the nostrils of God the Father and pleases Him. I desire to be that man today. I can't get there without You, so take me there, for I would have it no other way than me following You, for that is the Father's design for the life of the man He created, and I choose to be that man today. I am following You, Jesus. Let's go, I'm ready, and I'm bust'en at the seams."

This is the fellowship I long for with My heavenly Father and with my Savior Jesus. I've been walking with Them now for 30 years, and I'm hungrier now than I've ever been to live a life of faith that pleases God. I pray you have this same hearts desire, for this is why God made you. Come and join me on this journey, for there is plenty of room, because there are very few who choose to take it, but know that the Father is looking for the one that does. I pray He see you there..............Be Blessed!!!!

Mountain or Mole Hill? It's All In The Perspective

The mountain that stands before me may look big, but it is a small thing in God's sight. Therefore I need to look at the mountain through God's eyes ( spiritual eyes) rather than my eyes. How do you do that? You look at everything through the filter of God's word. Jesus said in John 6:63 "My words are spirit and they are (real) life. Look at something, then put the word of God over it and look at it again. You will see it now through God's eyes and that is the way God's children should live their lives. You will see it through God's perspective instead of yours and things look a whole lot different that way.

The more I look at God's word, the more I will renew my mind, and before long I will be thinking just like God thinks. If I think like God, then I'll see what He sees and things always look better from His vantage point.

If you see things the way God sees things then you'll do what Jesus said to do which is, "I assuredly say to you, whoever says to this mountain (now don't forget, you are looking at this mountain through God's eyes), Be removed and cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes those things he says will come to pass, HE WILL HAVE WHATEVER HE SAYS (because he will be saying what God says he has--the right to speak to the mountain in Jesus' Name)...Mark 11:23

2 Sam 7:19 says it all and puts the finishing touch on this word from God. It says to you and me,
"And yet this was a small thing in your sight, O Lord God.........."

What is the biggest mountain you are facing today? Now say, "this is a small thing in Your sight,
O' Lord", then blow the mountain away by speaking to it in Jesus' name. It has no choice but to move. (Oh yea, I forgot to tell you this one thing. You have to believe that it will move before it will. That's just the way faith works, but the good news is, IT WORKS!!)

You'll never look at a mountain the same way again. Be Blessed!!!!!!!!!

Religion or Fellowship, the Choice is Yours

Jesus went to the cross to get God's (the Father) man back to Him. However the devil has challenged and frustrated the recovery process each step of the way and one mighty weapon that the devil has used is Religion. The devil so likes religion for it has a form of God, but no power to it (2 Tim 3:5).

Man has bought into the lie of the devil and substituted religion for fellowship with God. Man was created to fellowship with his Maker. God desired to walk with him and talk with him. God created man for a place for His love, for that is who God is, Love. And man was the intended object of His love. Then satan deceived Adam and stole His man away from Him, and robbed God of the very fellowship He desired with His man.

But Jesus went to the cross and got His man back to the Father once again, and fellowship was once again restored between man and God. Now if we (man/woman) will walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), therefore we can walk hand in hand with God, which was God's original purpose for man.

But satan has introduced religion to man for the purpose of drawing man away from fellow shipping with God (that will probably rock a few boats in the theology harbor). Religion keeps man at a distance from God (the devil claims it will draw you closer). In religion you get a sense of God but you never know Him, because the only way that happens is by walking and talking with God, it's in fellowship with God that you get to know God. (Maybe now you'll understand Matt 7:21-23, especially verse 23). This (fellowship)is where God chooses to reveal Himself to man. He makes Himself known to man, and man is filled with the life of God, and then so chooses to live that way with his God.

There is no better place to be for a man than in living fellowship with God. But satan offers religion as a substitute for fellowship and the only thing man gains from religion is relationship (the legal right) with God and satan causes man to be satisfied with this, therefore he never seeks fellowship. There is no life that is produced in a man through relationship only. (You married folks already know this. The marriage license gives you legal right to be married (the relationship), but it's the fellowship of the married couple that produces life through that fellowship with one another, for this is where you truly get to know your mate).

Relationship is what opens the door to fellowship, where God is calling every man/woman to participate in, but most men stop at the door (relationship) and never continue on to fellowship and in this place (relationship) man is no threat to satan, and satan will continue his dominion over the man who stands in the doorway, but the man who moves from the doorway of relationship into fellowship with God will soon find out that the devil is under his feet and that he has dominion over the devil, and this is the truth the devil so desperately wants to hide from man, so he uses religion to get this accomplished.

Today is the day for you to break free of religion and come and walk and talk with God. When you get there, you'll find me there, and you'll not only have fellowship with the Father, but you'll have fellowship with me as well and I have come to find that I desire this fellowship as much as God does. (Why wouldn't I? His Spirit dwells within me. What He wants, I want).

Now the choice is yours. Turn loose of religion and turn towards God and join Him (and me) for fellowship. Get to really know Him. I'll see you there.

PS
The Lord just revealed this scripture to me today, which is a day after I posted the above message. It so fits into what God laid on my heart yesterday that I wanted to add it to the post today. The scripture comes out of my old Living Bible (not the new version) found in Ps 27:8 which says, "My heart has heard You (God) say, "Come and talk with Me, O' My people." And my heart responds, "Lord I am coming". That scripture so easily says what was on my heart when I wrote the above message. My prayer for you is that you join me in saying, "Lord I am coming."

Are You a Seeker of the Truth? Don't Ever Stop!

I've been led of God to share with you a letter I wrote to an individual that I know and respect very much. This person is seeking the truth about God and His Word, but is challenged by what they already know about God and their willingness to change their thoughts and move on to higher ground with God. There are many who read this blog site that find themselves in the same situation and that is why God wants you to see this. So read on.............

My letter begins;

I've been thinking about last Thursday evening and also about our phone conversation last night and I have asked God to help me explain to you where you find yourself when you are hearing things from other believers (like ----, -----, myself and others) that you don't understand or personally believe. I know it can be an awkward situation for you, but also it's an opportunity for you to grow in the Lord. The devil will do all he can to discourage you from learning more about your Lord, because he knows you will become a tougher opponent the more you learn and grow. He would rather you argue and challenge the messengers God puts before you and keep you right where you are at.

So God has put something on my heart for you that I'm going to share with you and I am believing that you will receive it in the right spirit so that it will be a help to you instead of a stumbling block. Here what the voice of the Lord is saying. I'll be writing by the influence of the Holy Spirit so receive the content of it from Him and not from me. I am just the messenger that God is using to get this information to you. Be Blessed!

When I (Terry) speak while I'm ministering to someone, I am speaking from a position of revelation that I have received from the Lord. (Ex: 1 Pet 2:24 "by His stripes you were healed". What you believe about that scripture and what I believe about it maybe very different because of the revelation, the light of the word, that has been exposed to me verses how much light you have received about that word. It's not that God favors me more than you, it's that I have dug deeper and made myself available to whatever truth God would share with me about it and when He did I received it as truth and just accepted it without fighting it by trying to make it conform to what I thought about it. When God finds an open heart, He pours out His Truth into it.)

Now, the position I am speaking from may be different from the position of understanding that the person I am ministering to is at. This was always the case when Jesus ministered to people when He walked this earth as a Man. The people that heard Jesus said such things as Mark 1:22 states, "and they were astonished at His teaching for He taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes" (ministers of the word in a religious setting, what we call the church). Verse 27 says,"then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, what is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits and they obey Him".

Mark 4 gives another good example. This is when Jesus spoke to the wind and the waves in the middle of the storm. He first spoke to the storm (how does that make you feel?), then He spoke to His disciples in the boat with Him who were afraid they were going to die. Jesus says to them in Verse 40, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have NO faith? (would you be offended if Jesus asked you this same question? How about if Jesus asked you this same question through the mouth of another believer today. Jesus and the Father dwelling in the believer's heart, and that believer steps up and does and says what Jesus does and says, because Jesus is living His life through that believer who is submitted to Him and is directing his steps as well as his mouth, for Jesus is filling his mouth with His words and as the believer speaks he sounds just like Jesus, because that's who is doing the talking. Jesus is using the heart, the mouth and the voice of the believer who is standing there ministering in Jesus' Name, and now it's the Father and Jesus who dwells in the believer's heart that is doing the work.)

Now back to what Jesus said. "how is it that you have NO faith?" Verse 41 (of Mark 4), and they (the disciples, those who walked with Jesus and believed him to the level of their understanding) feared exceedingly and said to one another, "who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!".

When you fear something you don't understand you can become offended at what you see and hear, and you actually turn against it instead of receiving it. That for the most part is the condition of the church (the body of Christ) today. Jesus will be working in their midst through a believer that actually believes what Jesus has said to him through His Word and is willing to do it, willing to act just like Jesus, for he is doing nothing more than acting out the One who lives within him. And many are offended by the messenger, and therefore do not receive the Truth of the Word spoken, nor do they receive the promise of that word.

The man or women who is standing in the midst of Jesus, because they are standing in the presence of a believer who is declaring God's word by the leading of the Spirit that dwells within him, this man or woman has the same choice that every man or woman who has ever come into contact with God and His Glory has ever had and that choice is either to humble yourself and receive from the Lord by believing Him (which is "by faith") through the word that is being proclaimed before them through this believer, or be offended at the messenger and his message because it doesn't look and sound like the Jesus you have come to know through your previous religious training and understanding of Him. So you turn away from Jesus in anger and frustration by turning away and turning off from the believer who is standing before you speaking the very words of Jesus. And just as those same types of people kicked Jesus out of their midst because they were offended at Him, they will kick this believer out of their midst and will not receive what God was offering to them.

God will send His believing ones into the midst of His church (His body), to speak His Truth and to do His Word. Much of the Church responds the same way the Jews responded when Jesus was in their midst. Some believed and received, but many were offended and turned away from the very one who could save them (help them).

The question you must ask yourself today is, "which person do I choose to be?" Believe and receive, or be offended and not believe and therefore not receive.

Be careful not to strike out at the messenger when he says something that on the surface sounds offensive to you, for what you are feeling at that moment is that two edged sword, the word of God, cutting into you and doing what only the Word can do, and that is to make you a believer just like the believing one who brought the word to you.

I pray you hear the voice of God in this message and it's intended mission to penetrate your heart with the Truth. The choice is yours, that is always God's way. You are seeking for the Truth, and that is why God has used me this way and I'm glad He did.

Be Blessed,
Terry

Are You Really Looking At The Truth?

Today I have another word of truth that God deposited on my heart that I want to share with you. If you have been reading this blog for awhile, then you know some of the things I share with you come as a teaching, which I love to do, for God has called me to teach His Word. But sometimes I'm led to just pass on or relay to you what God has spoken to me personally. I do this knowing that God spoke this to me for my own spiritual growth in Him and it's directed at me for where I find myself with Him. He knows just what I need to hear to take that next step up closer to Him and His ways. It's at these times I feel like I don't want to change a thing He said to me by teaching it, but just to share it with you as is and allow the Holy Spirit to minister it to you in the way it would be most helpful to you. So that is what I'll be doing today.........

God spoke the following to my heart. I did not hear an audible voice, but I heard Him loud and clear in my spirit (that is where God communicates with man, Prov 20:27 says, "the spirit of a man is the lamp(the candle) of the Lord" (this is where the Lord turns the light on for you to understand His word and what He says to you)--see, I can't help myself but teach. I'd love to run off in a tangent right now and discuss this subject thoroughly but lets get back to what God has assigned me to do today........

God said to me, "I have told you something, but you choose to believe something else. This is why I call you a faithless and perverse generation (Matt 17:17). I declare Truth to you and you hear Me. But if My Truth does not look like your situation in life, you disown My Word and you accept what you see as truth over what I have declared to you. I have said that My Word is Truth, but you have said, "what I see is truth", but I tell you this day that what you see is not the Truth. My Word is the Truth and that is the only place Truth resides.

Everything you see has been created by Me, but that creation has been cursed because of Adam's sin and transgression. That what you see with your eyes is cursed, but that what you see through your heart (spirit) is blessed. You can only see the Truth through your heart. That is why I have said if you will believe My Word in your heart and confess what you believe with your mouth, than you will see the Truth manifested in your presence. My people know this Truth and desire it, but are not willing to do what it takes to live their lives at this place. You must meditate My Word day and night until all you see is My Truth. What you see in My Word must become more real to you than what you see with your eyes. Everything you see with your eyes is subject to My Word. If what you see does not look like what My Word declares, then hold fast to My Word by looking at it, until that what you see with your eyes now looks like what My Word declares.

My Word is Truth, what you see in this world is not, but My people are not willing to do what I declare to them to do, so they take what they see before them as the truth, and they disregard My Word because it doesn't line up with what they see and therefore what they see directs their steps instead of My Word directing their steps, and their way seems right to them, but the end of that way is death (Prov 14:12), but the end of My way is Life (John 10:10). I have set this Truth before Me, from the beginning of time. Adam lived this way until he took his eyes off My Words, and listened to someone else's words. And those other words changed what Adam was seeing with his eyes. He was no longer looking at things through My Word, but he was looking at things through satan's word. Adam's view became distorted, and he bought into the lie, and the words of the devil took him to that tree that I forbid him to go. What Adam saw through the devil's words became more real to him than My Words. This happened because he took his eyes off Me (My Word) and put his eyes on the devil (his words) and this forever changed the destiny of man.

But I sent My Son Jesus to you, to live among you, to show you how a man lives by looking at My Word only and not being moved by any other word in the land. Therefore Jesus only saw Me, and My Word was Truth to Him over what He saw in the world. Jesus My Son has shown you how to live your life on the cursed ground that you walk upon. I have made a way for you to live on this cursed earth, and I have sent My Son Jesus to show you as an example on how to live My Way. The chose is now yours. How do you choose to live your life? By looking at Me and seeing the Truth through what I say in My Word, or by looking at what you see in the world around you, then hearing the voice of the devil confirming what you are seeing as the truth, then buying into the lie, following it to your death and destruction.

I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), no one comes to the Truth except through Me, for the Father you see is the Truth, and My Son is the Truth, and you can look just like Us if you will keep your eyes only on the Truth, that is My Word. And My Word will not only show you the Truth, you will become that Truth just like Me, then what you see clearly will be the Truth.

This is the way My Father (Jesus speaking now) chooses for you to live your life, are you willing to do it? Most aren't, but what about you? Are you willing to live this way? I did, and there is no higher way to live. Now go and live your life My Way says the Lord............. so ends the saying of the Lord.

I have revealed to you my place in my walk of faith with the Lord and I have shared with you His instruction to me to help me grow and move up to a higher place of believing. He always challenges you to take that next step, so where ever you are on this journey of faith, let it be a challenge for you as well, to take the next step to higher ground. Faith, it's the only (right) way to live!!

God's Intimate Word to Me and You

God has spoke the word that follows this introduction to me just minutes ago. He's been dealing with me for quite some time about being transformed into the image of Himself, His dear Son Jesus. Everything He has been speaking to me has been just for me until He spoke to me this morning. When He finished, and I thought He was done with what He was showing me, He said I have one more thought for you but I want you to proclaim it for all to hear, so that is what I'm doing.

God declares, " There is nothing worse (in My sight) than a man who declares My ways and My Word to others but doesn't look anything like Me. They have tried to make themselves look like Me, by what they think that should look like, instead of allowing My Word to fill their spirit which would change them from the inside out to look just like Me. But they fill themselves with men's words, and they look just like those words, but they don't look like Me. And when they see a man that looks like Me, they don't recognize Me, but rather they are offended because I don't look like them. They are forever trying to change what I look like, but I never change. I look just like the Word and they don't know Me, because they don't know My Word. My Word is in the world today, because it lives in the hearts of men who look just like Me. The world and those that live according to the ways of the world hate them, because they hate Me. I need men that look like Me to stand in their midst and proclaim My Truth. I have made you to be that man, so let My light shine brightly before them, says the Lord."

Now I share this truth with you in fear and trembling for I must receive what God has spoken to me by faith, for if I go by my feelings and what I think I look like, I'll turn and run. But God has said it to me and therefore I believe it and therefore I will be that man.

The reason He had me share this with you is because He is saying the same thing to some of you who are reading this and He has brought you to this place to hear the truth, and now He wants your light to shine before men, because you look just like Him as well. You know who you are, because of the One living inside you. He has made you that way, and it's now time for you to reveal Him to the world. I'll see you out there, and I'll recognize you, for as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Be Blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam, the son of God?

My wifes nephew is a new believer and he is diligently diving into the word of God. He came across something in Luke 4:38 that was the end of the list of the genealogy of Jesus where it says "the son of Adam, the son of God". His question was, "I thought Jesus was the only begotten son of God, what does this mean that Adam was the son of God? So I felt like I wanted to share the answer that the Lord gave me for him with you all. I was thrilled with what the Lord put on my heart so that I was able to answer his question. It was the first time I even heard some of this. Be Blessed!

You are right in your understanding that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. The one and only Son that came forth from the loins of God Himself. John 1:1 says: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Verse 2 says, He was in the beginning with God." Jesus (at the beginning) was not born or created, He always was, just Like His Father, no beginning and no end. The Son came forth from the inside of the Father when the Father spoke. Everything that the father spoke, the Son was and did. But the Son did not come forth from the Father until the Father spoke. The only begotten Son (Jesus) came from within the Father and because the Father always was, the Son always was. There is no other Son of God that came forth this way.

Now in Gen 1:26 , "Then God said, "Let Us (Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit), make man in Our image, and Our likeness.....27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created them." Man was created, Jesus was not (He always was).

God created/formed Adam out of the dust of the earth. Then God breathed His life, His Spirit into Adam and Adam came alive with the Spirit of God in him. Adam was exactly like the Ones who made him. He was like Them, but he was not Them which is the only difference between them. God gave Adam dominion over everything on the earth and empowered him with God's power and authority to rule and reign the earth. Adam was God's son, just like His Son Jesus. This is the image of man that you must see so that you can understand the original plan for man. Actually, this reveals the purpose of Jesus coming to this earth as a Man. Jesus got back for man (his rightful place with God) what Adam had lost.

Adam bowed his knee to Satan and committed high treason in the Garden of Eden when he listened to satan and obeyed him, rather than obeying God. Adam sinned, and separated himself from the Father, for sin can never be in the presence of the Father for there is no union there between light and dark. Adam was no longer the son of God, but in reality Adam was now in union with his new father, the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience (Eph 2:1-3)
Listen to 1 Cor 15:47-49 (I'm using the New King James Version)

The first man (Adam) was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man (Jesus) is the Lord from Heaven. As was the man of dust (Adam), so also are those who are made of dust (the man who does not have the Spirit of the Living God in him); and as is the heavenly man (Jesus), so also are those who are heavenly ( the ones who asked Jesus into their hearts and now have the Spirit of the Living God abiding within them). And as we have borne the image of the man of dust (Adam), we shall also bear the image of the heavenly man (Jesus) (just as soon as His Spirit is living in you or just as soon as you invite Him into your heart).

Jesus is known as the 2nd Adam. The 1st one failed, the 2nd One didn't. The 1st one was exactly like the 2nd One before the fall. Jesus looked just like Adam did before Adam sinned. Jesus now had to do what Adam was supposed to do. The 1st son failed and lost his sonship, the 2nd One walked in victory and defeated the one (satan) who destroyed the first son. When Jesus was born into this earth through Mary, He came to us as the Son of Man, not the Son of God (even though He was; Phil 2:5-8). He had to live on this earth as a man, in complete obedience to the Father, and live by faith in God's Word, just as the 1st man was designed to live by, but he failed when he chose to obey another word from another god (the god of this world-satan).

Jesus has defeated satan and has gotten back what Adam lost. Those who accept what Jesus did on the cross and receive Him as their personal Savior receive the Spirit of God into their hearts and they are born again and now made in the exact image of Jesus. Jesus went from being the only begotten Son of God to what the New Testament declares Him to be which is "the Firstborn from the dead" (Col 1:18, Rom 8:29) and all those who receive Jesus as Savior become born of God just like Jesus and just as Jesus is the Son of God, the born again man /woman is now the child of God.

Rom 8:14 says, "for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the Sons of God....16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. 17 and if children, then heirs---heirs of God and JOINT HEIRS with Christ...........
(Read 1 John 3:1-3 to establish this thought).

God has always wanted sons and daughters to bestow His love on. That is the whole purpose for our being here. And that which God has created to love, now is filled with that love, and desires to return that love to the Father. That is the way it was always supposed to be and thank God the Father, for His Son Jesus, for because of Him, I am a son as well.

God is still increasing His family to this day, but the soon coming King (Jesus) will be returning soon to gather up His family, so now is the day of salvation. Jesus was the firstborn from the dead, what number are you?

It's Time to Get That Swine Flu Shot

I feel led by the Spirit of God to speak about this potential world wide swine flu epidemic. The reason for this is because the media has enlarged this problem to a Pandemic already. From the first day they reported it, fear has gripped this world and now there is a frenzy out there concerning the swine flu.

My wife and I experienced this once before in 1976. We were living in Westland , Michigan and our first child was 4 years old. The media once again informed us about a swine flu outbreak in New Jersey and in a short period of time, the government decided that it would be a good idea if everyone got a swine flu shot for protection. Well, I chose not to do it, not because I was a big man of faith, I didn't even know the Lord Jesus then. I just didn't want to stand in line for hours. I saw thousands of people lined up at the local Shopping Mall getting shots. After the swine flu terror was over with, it was determined that more people died from the shots than from the flu.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not against doctors, medicine, and shots. But what the believing Christian must know is don't ever do anything that is motivated by fear. Fear will lead you where God never intended you to go. We all may be faced with this same decision again depending on how bad the flu epidemic becomes. Men will do their best to stop it, but men doing something without God is doomed for failure. I've not heard one news cast or one person say anything about seeking God and His wisdom on what to do with this crisis, but instead I hear panic and fear everywhere.

That leads me to what you and I should be doing right now. My wife and I sat down before the Lord this morning and we got our swine flu shots from Him. We have exercised our faith in God and His Word and are completely inoculated by the blood of Jesus. Just as the Israelites were instructed by God to paint the door posts of their homes with the blood of the sacrificial lamb so that the angel of death would pass over them, that is exactly what my wife and I did this morning. We plead the blood of Jesus over our house (the one with a roof over it) and then we plead the blood of Jesus over our physical bodies (the house where our spirits live) and we full well expect that spirit of infirmity to pass over both houses.

Prov 4: 20-22 says that the Word of God is life unto those that find it it and health (or medicine) to all their flesh. God has medicine for the believer, it's His Word. But just like those pills in the bottle, they won't do the person any good if he doesn't take the pill out of the bottle and consume it the way the doctor ordered it. God's medicine is just the same. If you just leave God's word sitting on the table between those two leather covers and never look at it and consume it into your heart (your spirit man), it will do nothing for you at all and you'll most likely get sick and blame God for it or at the least you'll accuse God of putting that sickness on you and that He is teaching you something. (you know, that almost pains me to write that junk).

You've got to take God's word and put it into your heart. And just like the medicine in the bottle, you've got to consume it as prescribed and this is God's prescription, "you shall meditate on My word day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success." (Josh 1:8). Now that is God's way of prospering, spirit, soul, and body. If you take God's medication any other way, you'll not get enough to stand against the wiles (the different ways) of the devil.

So you receive your swine flu shot by receiving God's word through faith. Eph 1:19 says that God extends His power towards us when we believe Him and Eph 3:20 says God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN US, or according to whatever we can believe, God's power will be there to bring it to pass. Jesus said, according to your faith, be it done unto you. All things are possible to him that believes.

So if coming to God to get your swine fly shot sounds foolish to you, then you must understand that you have not been chewing on the meat of the word, but you are still taking the milk instead. For the Holy Spirit said in 1 Cor 1:18, for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved (that is an ongoing process, not a one time act. I need healing and deliverance on a continuous basis) it is the power of God (for whatever we need, and in this case, I need a swine flu shot). So what is the message of the cross speaking to you. That your sins are forgiven and heaven is your home. That's great and wonderful and thank God for it, but the message of the cross has much more to say about how we can live on this earth before we get to heaven. This is the message you need now, "that Jesus bore your sicknesses and diseases and that you have been redeemed from the curse of the law", but just like that first group of Israelites that stood before the Promise Land, they still had to go in and possess it, they had to kick the giants out, and you'll have to kick the devil off of your promises from God as well. But God said you could, so go and do it.

Now are you ready for your Swine Flu shot. Then step right up, there is no waiting or line. To receive God's shot, you must receive His word by faith and believe Him.

Here is the medicine and you can't overdose on it. Take as much as you can.

1. Psalm 18:1-3
2. Prov 18:10
3. Ps 91 This is your protective covering. Especially look at verses 9-10
4. Ex 15:26
5. Ex 23:25
6. Deut 7:14-15

Now, if you take the above scriptures and believe that is God speaking directly to you and receive the truth of that word, than that truth will come to pass in your life. You will be inoculated from this spirit of infirmity. However, after doing the above and the devil still shows up on your front door step with the symptoms of the swine flu, resist him and kick him off your property by just quoting this word to him and refusing to accept those symptoms. Don't buy the lie, hold onto the Truth. This shot is more potent than anything man will ever come up with.

Now you need to take this good news out there and share it with others that need a swine flu shot. Be Blessed and stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

The Paintings of God--The Pictures of Life

The word of God paints a picture. It allows me to see the Truth through my spiritual eyes. If my body is sick, and I look at God's word and it declares to me, "by His (Jesus') stripes you were (past tense) healed (1 Pet 2:24)", I must take this word and use it as a picture until I see myself the way God sees me, Healed. I must look at this word picture with my spiritual eyes and see myself as the word sees me (healed) and as I look at that picture I see myself strong and healthy, just exactly as the word sees me. I must allow the word to tell me what I look like . If I will believe the picture that the word paints for me, my faith will obtain it. In this case, seeing is believing. But you are seeing the truth (first) through your spiritual eyes and you are believing what you see there and what you believe will bring about what you see.

That is the reason that God declares through His word that man must meditate on His word day and night (Josh 1:8). Why? So the man can renew his mind to the truth of God's word. So that he can see things as God sees them, then agree with God instead of agreeing with himself, what he sees, feels, or thinks about it.

Here in lies the problem. The man feels sick, so he looks into the mirror and he looks sick so he agrees with that image. Then he calls his doctor and goes and sees him. The doctor checks him out and sure enough the doctor agrees with the man and he tells him that he is sick. The doctor even gives the man a written report that declares the details of his sickness and this report declares that he only has three months to live. Now this man has been looking at everything through his physical eyes and everything he is looking at is painting pictures of death. Instead of seeing himself the way God sees him(a picture of life), he sees himself according to what he sees (a picture of death). By the time he leaves the doctors office, he sees himself dead because he believes the doctor's report and he keeps that image of death before him every time he looks in the mirror or feels his body and eventually the day comes where the pictures painted in the man's mind by the prophetic voice of the doctor and his report come to pass and the man dies.

This is the natural way of man, and sadly enough it's the way chosen by a great majority of God's family, the church. Paul calls this type of believer within the church, "a carnal christian"
(1 Cor 3:1) for he has been born again and has access to the Kingdom of God, but chooses to live his life in the natural carnal realm where he gets to be god and believes what he thinks about it instead of what God says about it. There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of that way is death (Prov 14:12). Settle it once and for all. God's way leads to life, man's way leads to death. Which way are you heading?

But God, BUT GOD declares to man,"whose report will you believe (Isa 53:1), yours or Mine?". One report is believed by the natural physical senses of the man and the other is believed by the spirit of man. Both reports paint pictures. One paints pictures of death and the other paints pictures of life. Whatever pictures you choose to look at the most, that is what you will believe. (here is good point to make sure that you understand that I am not talking about denying the reality of the situation that stands before, what I'm saying is that you have the right to deny it's right to be there if God has given you His word of promise that covers the situation. You have a God given right to believe something other than what you see or feel. You have the right to believe what God says, so I'm not talking mind science here, I'm talking faith in the living Almighty God).

When a man believes what he sees over what God sees (which has been declared to you through His Word), then the man has exalted his throne above God's (sounds like something satan tried, so I wonder why man does it to? Isa 14:12-14. The results weren't very good for satan and they won't be good for man either). Instead of declaring what God says about it, the man declares what he thinks about it (because that is what he believes). Man overrules God, then reaps what he sows.

Man was made to live by faith (Habakkuk 2:2-4 & Heb 10:38) in the God who made him. Adam's sin in the garden separated man from God and the Spirit realm where he lived by faith and it now placed him in the natural realm where man now had to have faith in himself and his ability to take care of himself. Jesus came to earth for man, paid the price for man's sin, and made a way for man to be reunited with his God, and once again live his life in the Spirit realm, where God is the Lord of all things and what He declares is Truth no matter what the physical realm is declaring.

God has shared this truth with us today so that we would clearly understand the Spirit realm where man lives by faith in God with every step he takes and the physical realm where man lives by sight, his physical senses, and exalts himself as god and directs his own steps through life.

Now the choice is yours. Where are you going to live your life? Whose report are you going to believe? If you choose God's way, you've chose the right way (it's right, because it's God's way) to live. But know this. If you live God's way , you will look strange and peculiar and people will criticize you (1 Pet 2:9 in the King James Version uses the word peculiar where the others use words like "special, His very own", and the word peculiar is right on and it's for this very fact that few in the church today live by faith). And most of this criticism comes from people in the church who choose to live carnal lives over living in the Spirit. The man in the world won't really have much to say about you, but the religious man surely will and he (the religious man) is easily used by satan, to steal, kill, and destroy the man who is trying his best to walk by faith. So which one of these are you? A man/woman who lives by faith, or a man who criticizes the man who walks by faith?

God has declared, "the just shall live by faith". Well, that is where you are going to find me. I pray you join me and encourage me in my walk, but if all you want to do is criticize me, then don't get offended if I ignore you. I'm choosing the way of life. I'm going to look at God's pictures and what it says I look like, well, that's what I'm going to believe I look like and if I look any different to you (in the natural realm) than what the word says, than I'm asking you to agree with the word and if you can't do that than just be still and take your critical and judgemental thoughts someplace else, because I don't want to hear it, I only want to hear what God is saying.

I hope that you understand that this has been written out of a heart of love, God's heart. Sometimes it may not sound that way, but God has a way of getting our attention.

Be Blessed and keep the faith. I got my eyes open for those peculiar people. Am I going to find you? I hope so.

Let me leave you with a promise from God. To the man/woman who chooses to live by faith God has this to say to you, "With long life I will satisfy him/her, and show him/her My salvation" (Ps 91:16). The good news about this promise is that God is willing to show you His salvation everyday of your life for this wonderful word "salvation", means much more than insuring that Heaven is your home when you leave this earth, but it also includes the things we need for this life in this cursed world; restoration, deliverance, being made whole, healing, fully complete, nothing missing, nothing broken. Now I think that should cover it for any day you or I will face.

Who/What Has #1 Priority In Your Life

Today I find myself responding to the heart of God because I have this same feeling in my heart which just affirms to me that The Father and Jesus are living there, just like they said they would. (John 14:23)

I was reading Matt 5:6 which says, " Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled". Then I asked myself why there are so few people in the body of Christ who don't hunger and thirst after the things of God. I've been in leadership in the church for many years and I witness this lackadaisical desire among many to follow after Christ.

I am currently a leader of a home group along with my wife and have done so for about five years. It's a wonderful group filled with wonderful people, but the commitment that Jesus requires to follow him as a disciple by giving God first priority in your life is somewhat lacking there, just like it is every where else I look in the church because I don't see the hungering and the thirsting that Jesus talks about. What I do see is people giving priority to the things that are happening in their life, life's issues (and they can be big time issues), over the things of God. Let me be the first to say that I am as guilty of what I am saying here as anyone else is, and I think that is what hurts me the most. I understand why people put there things ahead of God's things, but that still doesn't make it right. God speaks to this very clearly in Mark 4:13-20. You need to read this and meditate it especially verses 18 and 19. And then in verse 20 He tells you what happens to those that hunger and thirst after Him.

Our church is currently taking a spiritual journey through this Lenten season. We have done this for about the last five years. We are supposed to be doing this together through our different home groups so that we can grow together. But I've watched from a distance these past years and have seen the desire of the people on these journeys wane more and and more each year. The commitment to the Home Group during this journey is much more than normal. During Lent we meet once a week, and all other times twice a month or less. To commit to a seven week journey with the group takes a real commitment and discipline to be there every week. Every person has to set their priorities with what they will do with this time and only they know if they have put something ahead of God or not (you need to look at Luke 14:26 right now. If your bible uses the word "hate" in this verse that word means "to love less). God knows when you can be there and when you can't.If you are not hungering and thirsting after the things of God, it's hard to stay on the path of the disciple.

God then took me to Luke 14:15-24, The Parable of the Great Supper. God has an invite out for us to come to His table and eat with Him. But so many make excuse not to come. And the excuses that make God angry, yes I said angry, are the kind that are listed in these verses. God understands when life's crises happen and you have to tend to things, but it's all the other things that we put before God that does not please Him.

As I sat contemplating these things the Spirit of the Lord said to me, "They are content knowing that Heaven is their home and that they have escaped Hell and the Judgement to come, but they have no desire to follow Me. They are not willing to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. They are not willing to leave their familiar surroundings for new and unknown territory. They have no desire to learn how to live victoriously over this world's system but would rather live according to it. They have no desire to change into the person I desire them to be. They will reap what they sow and they will not enter into the promise land, but they will remain in the wilderness for the remainder of their days. I give man the choice on how he desires to live his life. With Me, or without Me, the choice is his, but the results of his choice are his as well. When things don't turn out well for man because of his choice, he will blame Me instead of himself. This should not be so but it is. Choose you this day who you will serve. Me or you. The Kingdom way or the world way. Whatever you give yourself to that is what you shall reap. I desire to bless you, what is your desire My child? The choice is yours".

I really didn't want to share this with you and I was just going to keep it to myself for my own learning of God's ways. I knew He was speaking to me about things that I have given priority to over God and I knew He was speaking directly to me. I was judging what I was seeing by how God is judging me. He was allowing me to see things through His eyes and I became angry, just as it makes Him angry. But God reminded me about the purpose of this blog site and my commitment to Him concerning this site. I told Him I would reveal the Truth here, no matter the cost to me. So that is why you are reading this today. I plan to heed His voice, how about you?

It's Time To Believe-I Mean Really Believe

As I was reading Ps 76 out of my Living Bible today, I never got a chance to get past verse 5. The Spirit of the Lord just stopped me there and I began to meditate that verse. Then revelation began to pour forth like a fireworks display and I got so caught up in it, I forgot that God was teaching me something so I grabbed my paper and pen (I'm pretty old fashioned) and began to write. God started out by teaching me, but then He switched to His prophetic voice and began to speak through me, for this was more than a personal teaching for me, but He wanted to speak to His whole family of believers everywhere in the Body of Christ. You'll be able to tell where God goes from teaching me to speaking to all of us.

Ps 76:5 (Living Bible) says, "the mightiest of our enemies are conquered. Not one can lift a hand against us" (unless we let him-this was the first thought when I read this, so I know it was God inspired). Also, this is the old Living bible translation and I would of never seen what God wanted me to see if I had not been looking at this translation. It expounds so much more than the KJ, NKJ, NIV, NLT, MESSAGE, and just about anthing else you would look at. Now don't get all tensed up about Bible translations. Put those religious spirits in check. God chose to speak through a donkey, so He can speak through anyones translation. The problem is, no one is listening to Him, just what others are saying about Him.

God began to teach me by saying (now this is not an audible voice, it's and inward witness in my spirit).......... The devil is defeated. Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. (1 Jn 3:8) I (that's me)am in Jesus, and Jesus' victory over the devil has become my victory over the devil as well. When the devil shows up to peddle something to me from the curse, I submit myself to the Word of God, hold fast the Word, resist the devil and watch him flee from me (James 4:7) because the Father has given me the right to be found in Jesus, therefore I have His Name and authority to reign and rule over my enemy (and Jesus' enemy) and command the devil to cease and desist and to depart from me. I have the right to enforce Jesus' victory over the devil and receive the benefit of that victory.

Christians ask, " If God says I'm healed, then why am I sick?" Because you have let a defeated enemy steal something from you that belongs to you. (Healing belongs to you for you have been (past tense) redeemed from the curse of the law (Gal 3:13-14, 29) and sickness is part of that curse). We must be prepared to enforce Jesus' victory over the devil in our own lives when the devil comes against us. Don't wait for God to do something about it, (what more does He need to do, He sent Jesus in your place and defeated your enemy, it's finished, the victory is Jesus' and ours), He is waiting for you to step out in faith and exercise your authority over the enemy and resist him, so that Jesus once again gets to see His enemy flee from Him. If you are sick, don't ask God "why did You let this happen to me?".

Now this is where God switched from teaching me personally (and trust me, I needed to hear it) over to speaking through me to the body of Christ.........The real question that God is asking you is, "why did you let this sickness overtake you? Why didn't you fight your enemy the devil in My Name (Jesus) like I told you to? Why didn't you believe Me when I said to you, "Jesus took your infirmities and bore your sicknesses (Matt 8:16-17), and by His stripes you were (past tense) healed (1 Pet 2:24)? Why didn't you believe Me when I said that your enemy is defeated (Col 2:15)? Why did you not believe Me when I said you must live by faith and not by sight (Heb 10:38 & 2 Cor 5:7), but only be moved by what I say (Jn 14:21-24). Why are you so fearful? Where is your faith? Oh you of little faith, when are you going to turn towards Me and believe Me. Have I not declared that My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge? (Hosea 4:6) Why don't you know My ways? Why do you listen to men who talk about My ways, but don't know Me at all? They speak wrongly of Me because they don't know Me. Why do you know what these men say about Me, but you don't know what I said about it? Why have you accepted the lie, but you won't accept My Truth? I AM who I say I AM, I've done what I said I did, and I will do what I said I would do. Are you going to change your ways and believe Me, or are you going to hold onto lies that have been spoken about Me? I have made a way for you to live victorious on the earth over your enemy, satan. My Son Jesus has defeated him and I have made a way for you to walk in that victory. (Be Born Again) But you will have to believe Me over what some man has said about Me. I AM El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One, the God Who is more than enough. I have provided for every need you will ever face, but you will have to believe Me every step of the way to walk in My Son's victory. Today I ask you to change your ways and believe Me. You think you believe me now but you don't. Draw near to Me. Spend time with Me and I will enable you to believe Me. That's the only way it's going to happen. You can be as free in life as I have declared you are in My Word, but you will have to believe Me to walk in that freedom. If you don't know where to get started on this journey with Me, just ask Me, I'll show you. Now I didn't say ask another man how to do it, I said ask Me and I will show you the Truth. But it will take courage to believe Me, but I've provided that to as well, for My Spirit lives in you and it's time to yield to My Spirit, and to turn away from your flesh and what you think about it. It's time to trust ME. Come and follow ME.............so ends the word of God as it was spoken to my heart.

Now I know this word was spoken directly to me, but you will benefit from it also, for this is the reason God had me start this blog. I know exactly what He is saying to me this day, and as soon as I'm done typing I will start immediately doing what God has shown me this day. I personally thought I was doing pretty good at this and that's what I get for thinking. God says this day to me, "Let Me show you how to really do this" and I say Amen to that. I'm ready to learn, how about you.

Growing Up With God and Sharing It With You

As I said in the beginning of this year, I sensed the Spirit leading me to share more of my personal walk of faith with you for the intended purpose of helping you with your walk of faith. I can't say that I enjoy doing this, because it requires me to expose those areas of me that I would rather keep hidden. It exposes weaknesses in me that I wished were not there, but wishing won't help me one bit, but transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit will. As He reveals things to me that need change, I'm responsible to accept what He is showing me and then doing it. My sharing this with you is a part of that change that the Spirit is working in me.

As you know, I returned home from South Africa a few weeks ago and my spirit has been very alive since the first day I set foot in Africa. It's hard to explain, but I have just been more sensitive to the voice of the Spirit and He has been pouring revelation into me concerning the Kingdom of God. I've become more aware of the Kingdom and how we are to live in the Kingdom (by faith) and by what principles we live by there and the language that is used in the Kingdom. Do you know what the language of the Kingdom of God is? It's the Word of God. You speak the Word in the Kingdom and whatever that word declares will come to pass if it comes forth from a heart of faith. The worlds language will not work in the Kingdom of God. For many years I tried to live in the Kingdom with the world's language on (fear, doubt, unbelief, unloving, uncaring, etc.) on my tongue and I couldn't understand why I was having such little success in my walk of faith. Then God led me to Joshua 1:8 and I got my first glimpse of what it takes to live successfully in the Kingdom of God.

I shared all that with you to let you know that I've been at a great place with God ever since the trip and He keeps revealing new things to me. I should know by now that when I get in this good place with God, the devil will show up and try to put a stop to it and I shamefully say that he has been more successful at this in the past than I would like to admit.

Without going into too much detail, yesterday was the day the devil showed up. I've been growing leaps and bounds in my faith of late, and the devil was ready to do to me what he has always done to me in the past and that is to get me offended over something and that is exactly that strategy he used once again.

I got an email from my Pastor that was addressed to me and a small group of other people who are involved in the healing prayer ministry at my church. This ministry was birthed from my Pastor's heart a little over a year ago. This particular church is very young in it's growth in the areas of the Gifts of the Spirit and Healing, so this was a big step for them. Because of my background and how God has trained me these last 30 years, I had a full heart of believeing God for Healing and Miracales and immediately felt called of God to help lead in this new ministry at our church. I was excited about it and enjoyed doing it. It gave me the opportunity to teach and minister to the sick and we've seen God do some wonderful things over this past year.

But this email came the day before our next healing prayer time saying that the format of the meeting will change and that a new Pastor to our church will now be leading the healing prayer meeting, with the hope that those of us that are on the rotating schedule of leading these meetings would still be there to follow this Pastor's lead.

It was like an arrow was shot right through my heart and I immediately took that email very personal. I could feel the anger rising in me (and as soon as I felt it, I knew better, for I knew it's source) and I got offended. I can't tell you how many times the devil has done this to me and up till now it has worked every time, and I would experience a serious set back in my walk of faith and become useless in the Kingdom of God (which was the devil's object all along).

Well here I am full of faith and revelation of the Kingdom and the devil assaults me and has his way with me and I'm just about to jump on my computer and fire an email back to my Pastor and give him a piece of my mind. I was already starting to feel good by thinking of what I was going to say to him. I was determined to serve my notice to this ungrateful man and quit. (Just exactly what the devil wanted all along). But the Spirit of God had enough of my heart to stop me from doing this so I just sat around most of the day and spewed to myself and kept enlarging this whole thing. Finally God got my attention that evening and began to minister to me. It helped, but I still went to bed out of sorts.

I arose this morning and the devil was waiting for me to open my eyes, and as soon as I did, here he came again with that accusing tone and started to rile me all up again. But I had enough sense to grab my Bible and get before God and His word. He began to minister to me by telling me to look up the word "offended" in my concordance which I did. As I looked at the word, it began to minister to me (this is the purpose of the Word). I softened and began to hear the voice of the Lord. He painted the whole picture for me. I saw Satan's every move and his intent for it. Then God had me lay my eyes on Matt 15:14 and He spoke to me loud and clear through the first three words of that verse. It says,"Let them alone". Now that might not do much for you, but you should of heard that in the ears of my spirit. It was strong and it jolted me and I experienced that fear of God that is so necessary for the Believer to have a right relationship with God Almighty.

Those three words deflated all the stored up anger in me and left me feeling breathless and totally ashamed of myself and what God told me next even made it worse (for the moment). He said, "this is the first time you have listened to Me when being attacked by your adversary the devil when he has come against you this way. You've always given into your flesh but this time you have followed My Spirit". On one hand I felt bad for the fact that I've always failed at this in the past, but I then immediately felt encouraged from the fact that I had finally given way to the leading of the Spirit concerning this type of attack. Then God said one more thing to me. It was the healing balm I needed. He said, " now because you have chosen My way for responding to this trial, you have now become more useful to Me for I can now trust you with more of the things within My Kingdom", and I must say that truly pleased my soul.

So I stand here before you all, having shared this struggle of mine with you, knowing what I must look like in some of yours sight. But I came out of this the better for it, and I pray that it helps some of you as well, for we are not ignorant of the devil's devices.

For me, I'm pressing on. I'm at a new place with God today. A place I've never been before, and I like it. You'll find me tonight at the Healing Prayer Meeting with a new and fresh anointing and a determination to tread on the devil's head, for that is where you will find him, under my feet, where he belongs.

Pray for me!!

I'm Back

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am back from the most exciting experience of my life. I had a certain expectation level of what it would be like in South Africa, but this trip far exceeded it. God was so good to me and my wife. He provided opportunities that were just breath taking and He revealed Himself to me many times through what He had created there. I never grew tired of looking at the mountain ranges and the green rolling plains. I can see how peoples hearts are turned by God to desire more than just to visit a place like that, but to actually live there for the season that God would determine in His perfect plan for your life.

I saw a new land, but I also saw a new people. New faces, and whole new culture. Languages and food that was totally different from what I was used to, but I found the change very exciting and I so enjoyed the new experiences.

I did find out one interesting thing about my faith there. I came to realize that the so called strong faith that I believed I was walking in before I went on this trip was very much grounded in my familiar surroundings. My faith felt much stronger at home. In South Africa everything was brand new and I wasn't familiar with anything and I had a sense of fear on different occasions that I hadn't felt in a long time. Once I got my focus back on God, He spoke to my heart and said, " I've not changed. I'm the same God that you know in Ohio. You may have changed your location to unfamiliar territory, but I'm the same God and what I said to you in Ohio, is the same thing I'm saying to you in South Africa". Oh, that was good news to my ears and I felt my faith rise back up to where I'm used to it being and I spent the rest of my days there walking by faith in the God that never changes.

I hope everyone is doing well. I must stop for now, but I will be back soon to share some revelation God has shared with me.

Be Blessed!!

I'll Be Gone For Awhile

Just wanted to let everyone know that my wife and I will be leaving tomorrow for South Africa and won't be back until mid February. I don't know how much Internet access I will have there so I'm not sure when I will be able to post another entry again.

I would ask for your prayers as I am away. I pray that I will hear and experience God in a new and refreshing way. My wife and I will be visiting our youngest daughter, son-in-law and two wonderful grand kids and I'm truly looking forward to that, but I will also have opportunities to minister to people in that precious Name of Jesus as we go into places with many needs. I pray for God's strength and wisdom as I encounter the situations that God puts before me.

Until I write again, keep up the good fight of faith. Keep your eyes on the Word, follow it wherever it leads you, and do whatever it tells you to do. If you'll do that, God promises that you will be prosperous and have good success. (Josh 1:8). You'll also be living in the shadow of the Almighty with His hand of blessing upon you. And as God blesses you, go and be a blessing to that one that God puts before you. Now that is truly living the abundant life. Live it to the full!!

My Journey of Faith Shared With You

As I pointed out in my last post, I'm sensing that God wants me to use this blog in a more intimate and expanded way of sharing my journey of faith with you, so that you can learn God's way, by seeing what He is doing in my life. I'm concerned about doing this because I will have to open myself up and reveal things that I would rather hide, and I realize you will see me as I really am, a work in progress, and within that work includes failure, frustration, anger, confusion, short comings and a whole bunch more. But I sense God wants me to share what He is doing in me. Up till now He has only had me share the revelation of His word that He has given me, and I have enjoyed that, but now God wants me to add more to that. It's possible that some of you may think much more highly of me then you ought to, because of the revelations I have shared with you. If you are like me, you place such people in a special category and you think they have something from God that you don't. Now the risk is, that as I reveal myself to you, you will see me as I really am. That I may disappoint you or that I'm not the man of faith that you thought I was, but at the risk of this happening, I'm going to step out and follow God's lead and trust Him with everything he wants revealed through me. I know that God's intent in all this is to help you with your journey of faith, but by helping you, He will be helping me as well.

Let me start with this first thought so that you know where I'm coming from. The very first time (and this was many years ago) I laid my eyes on what Jesus said in John 14:12 as a new baby believer, I could hardly contain myself. I didn't doubt it for a second. I just grabbed a hold of it and embraced it. Jesus said, "he who believes in Me (well, that would be me), the works that I do he will do also." I'm telling you, that took my breath away. I had never heard another person ever utter such a thing. I went to church for a whole year after being born again, and I never heard any man or women proclaim that they could do what Jesus did. It took me several years of looking at and meditating that word from Jesus before I could accept it as truth. Why am I sharing this with you? Because my whole journey with Jesus these last 29 years has been nothing more than me learning how to do the works of Jesus. And let me tell you right up front that satan doesn't care how much bible knowledge you learn, he only cares if you step out and do something with what you learned. He will try anything to stop you, just like he did Jesus and His followers. Satan will let you play church all you want, but it's when you step out and be the church, that changes everything. Satan has challenged me every step of the way in this desire of mine to do what Jesus did, but I'm still in pursuit as of today. I've quit many times, I've thrown it down, I've said ugly things to God in my apparent failure of trying to do what Jesus did, but He would always revive me and get me back on that path of acting just like Jesus.

I've learned much about doing the work of Jesus over the years. From day one I've had in my heart the desire to minister to the hurting and those in need. I've spent years doing just that. I even helped pastor an inner city church in Columbus, Ohio for over four years and ministered to numerous people over that time. So you would think I'm well qualified to minister and do the works of Jesus. But let me tell you, you never just arrive at a certain level of ministry and just stay there automatically. You fight to keep the ground you have taken against the enemy.

Now just this past Thursday evening, I was helping with healing prayer ministry at my church. I arrived prayed up and what I considered full of the Holy Spirit. I moved confidently before a small 4 year old boy that I had previously prayed for and his mom was there holding him with hope in her heart that God would heal her son of autism. I began to pray boldly in the faith, but as I prayed, this boy became loud, crying, and moving all over the place. It was then that I realized that I did exactly what Peter did when he stepped out of the boat and walked on the water. He started well, but he took his eyes off Jesus and began to sink. The very same thing happened to me. I got my eyes on that boy and took them off Jesus and began to sink. I finished praying as best I could, but I walked away drained and feeling very inadequate. It felt as if everything I believed drained out of me. I've never seen Jesus like that when I see Him in the word ministering, how did He do it? Well that's the part I'm learning.

When I left that prayer time I was asked to go to someones house to pray for his young daughter who was having severe problems with her bowels and was very constipated. When I got there she was in much discomfort. There were three of us praying, and as I laid my hands on her to pray for her, she began to cry out in pain. I prayed in faith as best I could, but I don't think I recovered very well from the earlier prayer time. Again by the time I got to my car and drove home, I felt powerless and totally useless as God's servant. I was even angry with God that He would put me in such a situation like that and not prepare me, for I felt powerless. I walked away from that situation not feeling much like doing the works of Jesus

It took over 24 hours for God to get my attention and begin to minister to me and He began to reveal to me that it didn't look quite so bad from His side, that I had actually done what He asked me to do. He reminded me of a new song I have just heard by Hillsong. The song says "the same power that conquered the grave lives in me". I realized I took Him to those prayer situations, and He used my hands as well as my mouth to accomplish His work. I believe His word is at work in both of these situations and that we will see the fruit born out of those prayers.

After all this time of ministry to hurting people, I realize I'm still moved way too much by what I see and feel instead of being moved by the word only. I feel like I should have learned this many years ago and truthfully I did, but I still have to do what I learned and I'm believing the Holy Spirit will be there to help me with this very thing next time out. The most important thing for me is to keep at it and that's just what I'm going to do.

If I'm going to live for Him, Then I'm going to live like Him. As He is, so are we in this world. (1John 4:17)
If I'm going to give up my life for Him, then I'm going to take His life and live like He lived. What I see Jesus do, that's what I choose to do.

It's a New Year--Let's Go Higher

I'm sitting here today thinking about the New Year that stands before us. A new beginning of anything is always an opportunity for a new start, or to make a change from one course of action to another. I'm reflecting back on the previous year with the help of the Holy Spirit and I'm evaluating my walk of faith with the Lord Jesus. Was it pleasing to Him? Did He observe real and genuine faith?

As I honestly look back, I know that I have grown in Him and I am pleased with that, but I also see many short comings and failures in my ability to live by faith, but instead of being discouraged, I'm challenged by the Holy Spirit and I hear Him calling me up to a higher place in my walk of faith.

The thing I'm thinking about right now is the difference between me and God. The word declares in Malachi 3:6, "For I am the Lord, I do not change." And also in James 1:17, "the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning (no change)", and one more in Hebrews 13:8 to declare this truth that God never changes, "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever." It's obvious from the word that God is never going to change (and thank God for that), and it's also obvious that if anything is going to change, it's going to be me and not God for His word declares in 2 Cor 3:18, "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord(as we look into the word we see ourselves as the reflection of Jesus, that what we are supposed to look like), and being transformed (changed from what I used to look like, to looking like Jesus) into the SAME image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

As I look back on 2008, I am not satisfied with where I am at in this journey of faith. I am determined in 2009 to make great strides in my faith walk, because I plan on sticking closer to Jesus then I ever did before and I know that by doing this He will increase my ability to believe, because He said that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Rom 10:17) and I choose to hear more of what He has to say to me by spending more time in His presence. Jesus is the author and finisher (developer) of my faith (Heb 12:2). Jesus is not going to change, but I am. I want to be more like Him in every way, therefore I'm going to have to do it His way and not mine.

I'm also asking God how I can better use this blog site. I want to be able to communicate what God has on my heart so that I can encourage and help you on your journey of faith as well. I would like to hear more from you, the reader of this blog site. I would like to interact more with you in your struggles and in your development. I may try to share more of my daily experiences in this faith walk that I am in, the good as well as the bad. I want you to share in my journey so that It can help you in yours.

I pray for each one of you that read this blog, that God's hand of blessing be upon you this new year of 2009. I pray that you take new steps of faith this year. I pray for your well being, that you may be prosperous and successful in everything that you put your hand to, and that you walk in perfect (Divine) health each and every day. This is yours and mine inheritance, so lets you and me reach out and take ahold of more of it this year.

I would really like to hear from all of you from around this world and share your experience with me, for we are one body in Him and we are brothers and sisters and I would love to know more of my family, those of you that God has called to walk out this journey of faith. Let's you and I walk it together.

Be Blessed this year and that will happen if we trust The Father, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit every step of the way.
